Excellent Ambiance, Good Service, Delicious and Decent food – this is what someone look for when selecting a restaurant for dining out. In my experience, these guys are having all these qualities.  The location was easily reachable, calm and not as crowded as other places in Bangalore. Parking is available in front of the restaurant.  Safe place too.  Service was excellent – they didn’t make us wait too long. Bearer was always reachable and was able to address our needs. Very Friendly and helping attitude. We were able to get opinion from the bearer regarding the food and contents and he was able to explain it properly. Food was delicious quality- We ordered Biriyani, Appam, Rice and Kerala style curry and all of the items, taste wise, were above average and decently priced. This place has become by favorite food place, whenever I visit Bangalore!

Vazhiyoram is one place where you can find the finest and the most authentic Kerala cuisine in Bangalore. The place is scenic and hospitality is warm. They also offer pathimugam. Loved the alfresco and the lighting at the porch. Must try!

Kerala food is know for its rich use of coconut and rice.Boiled rice is a staple dish and is eaten with all sorts of gravies and curries. We had ordered the vegetarian meals include rice, dhaal, moru curry, pappad, raita, pickle and beans, which is both tasty and filling for the stomach, here you can have unlimited rice and gravy so that you can eat till you are satisfied.  Along with the meals we had ordered a Malabar Chicken Biryani. I love Malabar chicken biryani that is cooked in dum style. Malabar Chicken Biryani is made by layering an aromatic and herby chicken masala with fluffy rice, crunchy fried onions (birista), nuts, dried fruits and ghee in a large pot. This is then sealed and cooked slowly in steam to get this incredibly aromatic chicken biryani. When you are so hungry you can complete it in a blink on eye. Such unique taste is present in the biryani that makes you crave for more in each and every spoon. Location ->Vazhiyoram Restaurant (Gungur Palaya, Bangalore) Like/Follow/Comment #tangytreats

Had a good "chaya" with some tasy snacks.. This place offers a decent range of tasty Kerala cuisine and a definite value for money... Small cozy set up which is by the road side and hard to miss esp in the night..

Cute little place on a silent road near carmelaram church. Decent food. Their appams have good flavour but they can work on their stew. Biryani was alright, tasty but not the best Malabar biryani I have eaten.
