So I read a lot of reviews of service not good and this place being expensive. I went here on a Sunday morning at 9 am and there were 0 customers . There was some renovation work going on. We placed an order for idli vada and a plate of idli first . The quality was top class . I then ordered masala dosa which was amazing too.. not greasy like a lot of other joints . The filter coffee was to die for . Simply amazing . Now about the service - it was top notch . The waiters don’t speak Kannada because they are North Indians . Well I don’t speak Kannada too and I’m wondering is that the reason for the negative reviews ? Now about the cost - 1 plate idli, 1 plate idli vada, 1 masala dosa and 1 filter coffee costed 235 bucks. Now, how is that expensive ????. Yes this place is not a taza thindi or an arogya Agra where the food is dead cheap , but the cost by no means is on the higher side .

After every tiring shopping spree with my family, we somehow always end up at Woody's. Dont go by the ambience, as it is usually crowded and it also has a self service policy. The taste of the food is the actual highlight, although it is quite high on the price tag. If you want to try out some good food in commercial street I'd definitely recommend this place.

Unexpected taste. Maybe i should have ordered some Indian breakfast. Below average taste. Not a good environment. Defiantly not something to choose for taste in commercial street.

Its too over priced and the quantity is too less. We didn't have any other option and had to go here. The juice was 100rs and the quantity was way too less than 50rs juice. People don't even respond when we are asking to take them token.

I have been going to woodys for the past 20 years food has always been excellent, but today I picked up two maddur vadas - they were too salty , had to throw them.

Disgusting!!! This place needs to shut down. The new management and staff are extremely rude. They have no respect for senior citizens and treat their customers like rats. Terribly understaffed, unhygienic and no safety or control of the crowd in the new place. Even the standard of food has gone down. Please don’t make the mistake of going here.

This place charges like an upscale place but everything else about this place is cheap. The food, the service, the dirty utensils. Please give this place a skip if you don't want to be dissappointed after a long tiring day of shopping in commercial street.
