Zaitoon was the spot for my girlfriend and me back in Chennai. So, when they opened in Bangalore, I couldn’t wait to visit. But since we were staying in a completely different part of the city making a trip to HAL Road was something we were always reluctant to (Bangalore traffic ahem..ahem), and we kept putting it off. Fast forward to October 6th, 2024, when my friend visited, and we weren’t feeling the loud pub vibe. So, we decided to go down memory lane with some Arabian food at Zaitoon! My partner and I are big-time foodies, and we were worried our “evolved” taste buds might not be as impressed anymore. Boy, were we wrong. This place didn’t just meet expectations – it exceeded them. The food, the service, the vibe – everything was top-notch. And the FOOD, oh man, the FOOD!! The place is well-lit, clean, and cozy. The only drawback? The seats that we wanted to sit, the AC wasn’t working which we were warned about. Otherwise, it would’ve been a perfect 5. I’ll give a 4.8 for the overall ambiance. Ravi was our waiter. He was polite and helped us pick the Laham Meshwi starter. While he wasn’t super attentive (understandable given how busy it was), he made sure we were happy with the food and even ensured I got the bigger portions (major win!). I’d give a 4.8 + 0.1 (for Ravi) For the food I’ll give a 6/5 (yep, you read that right) The Laham Meshwi and Zaitoon Special BBQ chicken legs? Unreal. Juicy, perfectly spiced, and tender – we literally smiled at each other with every bite. Portions were huge, and we cleaned/licked our plates with zero shame. Next, we had the Kozi Samak – grilled fish with flavored rice that took us straight back to our Chennai days. It was so good, I almost cried. The Kunafa. It wasn’t the best I’ve had in Bangalore, but still pretty good. Cleanliness & Parking: 5/5 Spotless, hygienic, and they’ve got parking right next to the restaurant. Another reason I’ll keep coming back. If you’re looking for a great meal with friends or family, Zaitoon’s your place. Overall i give a 4.9 out of 5

I don't know how come few people have given negative review about this place.I have been to this place multiple times and it is under one of my fav place in bangalore to have dinner.Superb place for chicken.Both taste wise and quantity wise Somehow I feel this place is underrated and not talked about much due to its location.If it was in indiranagar 12th main or somewhere people would have just overcrowded it. Personally I just love the place ,Service of staff and ambience as well.Keep up the good service team

This place has become my absolute favourite go to place for a tasty meal which will never disappoint. Zaitoon surprises me every time with their flavours. The service is good and the staff is very courteous, unlike so many places in Bangalore. This has a warm friendly vibe which has been missing in most other restaurants of Bangalore. The restaurant is also hygienic and the service is super quick. Would recommend this place to everyone for a hearty meal.

Both 4 and 2 wheeler Parking are Available. Zaitoon has got a very Charming Ambiance and décor. They have wide varieties of North Indian, Grills, Arabian and Chinese Menu. Service was quick. Must try - - Zaitoon Special BBQ grill chicken - Hummus - Al faam and Shawarma - Mexican Barbeque - Butter Chicken (Order only if you like shredded Chicken)

Zaitoon offers a unique menu with some standout dishes, but the inconsistency in flavors can be a letdown. We recently tried the Egyptian Chicken, which had a distinct beetroot flavor, and the Moroccan Chicken, which carried a bold mustard oil profile. While both dishes were intriguing, they didn’t quite hit the mark this time compared to our previous visits. One highlight of our meal was the orange mayonnaise—easily one of the best in town and a must-try! However, the biggest challenge with Zaitoon is its inconsistency. We’ve dined here five to six times, and the taste varies significantly each time. While our first experience was fantastic, subsequent visits haven’t always lived up to expectations. Another point worth noting is the restaurant’s absence from Zomato Gold, which makes it harder to discover and could be a missed opportunity for attracting more diners. Adding Zomato Gold could definitely make Zaitoon a sweeter deal for regulars and new customers alike. Overall, Zaitoon has potential, but they need to focus on consistency to truly stand out.

So I had Planned for a Team Dinner With our US client here in this place Zaitoon ( Indiranagar outlet). I must Say what a Terrible Experience with the staff working there , food was not warm , What a terrible Biriyani, Well that's not it before going there for the dinner we had confirmed twice (On call and physically) if American Express cards were accepted by them they have confirmed they do accept. Untensils were broken services were not on time. When the bill came we handed them a Amex Card for payment one of the Staff named "MUNEEB" was very arrogantly arguing with us that they have stopped Making transaction with Amex Cards. He was literally shouting at us, he wanted to prove us wrong in a dominating way and later when I called the booking department they confirmed in front of him stating that American express cards are accepted after listening to the conversation he literally changed his voice tone in a soft apologising way but that doesn't work at first humiliating the customer in mid of the restaurant where everyone are seeing you and later when you realize that it's your mistake and apologizing for that doesn't make sense and takes things back to normal . The person doesn't know what is going on in his work place. And the management is totally unaware of the scene, No one from the Management came to confront or calm the situation with us. It was a huge mess. I recommend Not to visit the place. Not gonna Visit ever Again. 😑

The mutton biryani is a waste of money they will give you plain rice with two small piece of mutton no taste no flavours waste of money and time rather eat road side dishes. We also had some chicken which was uncooked and blood was coming out of it. A waste sunday lunch, a big NO
