Extremely disappointing experience. The way we were treated as customers was both unprofessional and disrespectful. We placed our order, and barely five minutes later, the server brought us the bill, informing us that the restaurant was almost closing and that we needed to pay immediately, although we could finish our meal. If the restaurant was too close to closing time to accommodate customers comfortably, we should have been informed before our order was accepted. We paid the bill and continued eating. Within the next 2–3 minutes, the server started clearing the table while we were still eating. He then came back, stood beside our table, and stared at us until we looked at him, at which point he again told us that they needed to close. We understand that restaurants have closing hours, and we have absolutely no issue with staff wanting to finish their shift on time. However, there is a basic difference between politely informing customers about closing time and making them feel unwelcome, uncomfortable, and pressured to leave. The restaurant could simply have informed us of its closing time before accepting our order. Instead, we were made to feel as though we were inconveniencing the staff by finishing the very meal we had ordered and paid for. This was not about the restaurant closing; it was about the complete lack of courtesy and professionalism in the way the situation was handled. Customers deserve to be treated with respect, even when it is close to closing time. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and trains its staff to handle such situations more professionally.
