If one is interested in authentic south Indian taste, then this place is a must visit. From the side of taste this restaurant is superb sambara gives you taste of typical taste of kokam and sambara powder. Me ordered golden crispy dosa , but it was a mistake as it got moist by it get delivered. They usually provide you three types of Chutney. And each has it's own taste no one tastes similar. Better than ICH. A must visit for South indian delicacies. Cons: I didn't find any but if you're a student you may find it costlier. Not for casual dinning. PARKING......If you got then you've got a jackpot. Else all is good

If you're looking for a place with pleasant ambiance and mouthwatering preparations, Sankalp is a Green Flag always. Hospitality and consistent taste is its exclusivity. I would recommend you to try out the Special Tomato Masala Uttappam, Cheese Corn Dosa, Kullad Rabdi here. Also, Lemon-Lichi-Fizz is an amazing beverage to start with. Masala Vegetable Idli is a Must-Must. We ordered Veg Pulao too, but didn't find it as good as other South Indian Dishes served herein. It's a bit costlier and hence, not suitable for frequent visits.

Sankalp is one of the best south Indian cuisine serving restaurants in the town. Every dish is worth trying. Not just the south indian food, but the other dishes are amazing too.. I had Mysore masala dosa, pav bhaji and special ice cream bowl and everything was superb. I loved their service their food, my overall experience was great. Would recommend this to everyone.

Well TBH I ordered this food when I was sick and down with viral. And i will say that it was ok for a sick person 🤦 not v tasty. But maybe a very light food not heavy on stomach... Also not too sure if rasam is that much watery. This is not a great order, I shall definitely try two more times least on some other south indian typical cuisines and take my final say on Sankalp. For now hold on to few more trials ! Happy eating !

Like I stated, I was born n brought up in chennai and I yearn for those flavours in bhopal. Wen Sankalp opened shop in town I was delighted. I was among the first to dine there. Although the food is not bad, I find it over priced and crammed. The place has gods cutlery etc but it’s still not worth it. So if you are looking for a fancy place to eat South Indian and don’t mind the prices, Sankalp could be your destination.

What a shame on the name of "Authentic South Indian food". i live in pune and before that i was in delhi for 10 yrs but never tasted such a shitty south indian ever in my life. i will start with cons as i cannot find any pros 1) Food is very expensive and in lieu of that, portion size is very small. for example, you will find uttapam like a size of rotis. 2) Taste is bad.lot of oil.i was trying to understand how they can charge too much for this unhealthy food. 3) They charge 20 rs for aloo masala so actually they charge more than 200 Rs for only batter roasted on tawa and some sambhar/chutney 4) Hospitality was really bad.i guess there was no management.i was trying to find out person who was managing place but couldnt find out.may he was hiding somewhere because he wasted my one hour in providing a simple jain dosa which he agreed first and then cam after 45 min that we do not have jain bhaji masala .my mother left without eating anything and they were ok with it. Thanks god, we still have our old Indian Coffee house. So this is all about this restaurant.how come bhopalis visit this place.if they operate in Delhi with such untrained staff, people would have killed itand this place would have closed till now. Arya Bhawan, ICH, Manohar still have that authentic taste.please avoid this restaurant.not worth for a single penny. Because of today's experience i deleted my old post of Saffron which i rated high as i believe standards must be down now for that place as well. Also, how rating of this restaurant is high.i am sure that must be paid or due to older post but recently i can say its doesn't live up to expectation.

Very disappointing experience at Sankalp. I ordered Butter Idli, but the staff informed me after taking the order that it wasn’t available and suggested I order the Sankalp Special Idli instead because the Butter Idli would take too long to prepare. We agreed only because they said the original item couldn’t be served at that time. However, when the bill arrived, they charged us for the Sankalp Special Idli, which is more expensive. When we questioned it, they simply said that’s what was served. This was unfair because it was their suggestion, not our choice. If Butter Idli was unavailable, they should have informed us before taking the order and clearly mentioned that the alternative would cost more. What made the experience even worse was the staff’s behavior. Instead of handling the situation professionally, some staff members standing in the corner were talking among themselves, giggling, and showing no respect or concern for the customer. Good food alone is not enough. Honest communication, transparency in billing, and respectful customer service are equally important. Unfortunately, this visit was disappointing, and I hope the management takes this feedback seriously. ⭐⭐

For MP Nagar Bhopal branch. I am a huge fan of authentic South Indian cuisine and can tell the difference between genuine and false claims. The Good - medu vada, filter coffee The Bad - we tried 3 different dosas which claimed to be buttered, which was a lie. Dosas were dry and tasteless. Sambhar was watery and light on spices. The chutneys had very little taste and seemed stale. Idlis were actually cold. Worse - There's no filter coffee on the menu but they have it and when the bill came, it was overpriced at 75/- each. Its not a cafe ffs. Worst- The manager did not receive the positive feedback very well, even when approached humbly and was actually rude. He claimed to have regular customers lining up without any complaints. His actual words - "Chutney me koi taste waise bhi nhi hota. Apko nahi pata hai"

Worst south indian meal tasted ever...veryy expensive.... I am from south, I would say this restaurant is cheating everyone with their food saying it is south meal... Dear Bhopalwali's trust me our cuisine is not at all bad like the food served here.. Oily pooris, par boiled rice, tasteless sambar , unnameable curry a big flop in single plate... Desert served in small plate tried to resemble kerala servings... But i know about traditional kerala meals very well, which would taste delicious with wide varieties . Overall very very expensive and worst experience ever.. I have no idea about tiffen items served here, but i would say this is not place to have meals....
