This restaurant provides typical odia food. I tasted- 1. Chilika chingudi jhol- Taste was really nice. I will recommend to try it once. I will also like to taste it again. Price of one plate was 360 ruppes. 2. Desi chicken kasa- Quantity disappointed me. Quantity seemed less according to Price. Taste made me feel like not traditional desi chicken . Overall dish was ok. 3. Roti- This was soft and taste was good. 4. Rice- one plate of rice was ok for one person only. Ambience was also nice, but little bit crowded during lunch time. I think It will be more peacful by some traditional odia songs. Service was good. Total price- 864 Food-3.5/5 Ambience-3/3 Service-3/3

I visited the Odisha Hotel for a lunch with my friends the experince was terrible and when I shared my feedback with the store manager he indirectly conveyed that Sunday we are too crowded so not come if you are cming then be prepare for the degraded service. summary: Food is average not that great.Staff behaviour is very rude and they do not want people to come. First of all they have very limited items in the menu and all the items are in the menu should be readily available, there should not be any preparation time. Still we received our order after 40 minutes. Some items were stale and when we asked for water bottle they provide it after a lot of struggle for 15 minutes that is also at normal temperature (we have asked for a cold one). We order three veg thalis and mutton aloo jholo, when we asked for some extra gravy immediately by seeing the quantity once the order arrived to our table, he took 20 minutes again to server the same and unfortunately by that time we were done with our lunch. The second part is the worst thing, when we informed the cashier(he says he is the manager), the items which are order should be served bit quickly before we are done, He said :" today is Sunday and many people are here this is the best we can do kind . It is upto you you want to visit or not. Once you order something it will be order as per queue only does not matter you are done with your meal or not.And again it is your wish you want to visit or not we cannot change for you." I have other branches or Odisha hotel, They were good and staff were very friendly but I will never visit the Khandagiri branch again. And also I will never recommend this to anyone.

We visited Bhubaneswar for the first time and wanted to experience authentic Odia cuisine, so we chose Soul of Orissa for dinner last night. While we did have our meal there, the overall experience was extremely disappointing. There were live cockroaches moving around on our table. When we brought this to the staff’s attention, their response was casual and dismissive—they simply justified it by saying, “kabhi kabhi aa jata hai.” This lack of hygiene and indifferent attitude completely ruined what should have been a memorable culinary experience.

Extremely disappointed with my takeaway experience from this restaurant. The food I received was clearly stale and not properly cooked, which is completely unacceptable. Ordering takeaway should be convenient and reliable, but this was the exact opposite. Serving stale and undercooked food shows a lack of basic hygiene and quality control. It not only ruined the meal but also raised serious concerns about food safety. I strongly advise others to think twice before ordering from here. The management needs to take responsibility and ensure customers are not served such poor-quality food.

went to this place and had the worst experience of odia food in bhubaneswar ever, trust me don't believe their paid promotion and reels on instagram in which I also believed and got exact opposite. over hyped. very poor and bad service( waiters don't have a minimum awareness about who has come and who has gone). all the food was cold and not fresh. fish fry was only bones and no flesh. tasteless food( worst pakhalo ever in Bhubaneswar)

The chicken kasa was not cooked well and was as hard as a rock. The nimbu pani was only water and maybe a few drops of nimbu… tasteless. This wasn’t expected from odisha hotel as a brand. Don’t recommend the one in khandagiri.
