Just visited Starbucks and it’s exactly what you expect. Good coffee, cozy vibe, and a place you can just sit and relax for hours. A bit pricey, but the consistency and atmosphere make up for it. Perfect for casual meetings or just zoning out with a cup.

I recently visited Starbucks Bhubaneswar with my mother and, unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing and far below the standards one expects from a global hospitality brand. I had ordered a regular Caramel Frappuccino and clearly declined all suggested add-ons. Despite this, I was repeatedly encouraged to include additional items, including a “banana protein foam,” which I explicitly refused. Another staff member then mentioned that it “comes with the same” and implied it was included in the standard price. However, when I later reviewed the bill and menu, I noticed that an additional item had been billed separately at a higher price. When I raised this concern at the counter, the staff members shifted responsibility among themselves instead of providing a clear explanation or prompt resolution. This created an uncomfortable and unprofessional interaction. In addition, while placing the order for three items, I was continuously pushed to purchase a Starbucks card, which I eventually accepted due to persistent insistence. The entire billing process took nearly 15 minutes, during which I had to remain standing at the counter while multiple staff members tried to understand what was happening in the system. The turnaround time and coordination were poor. Eventually, I was asked to sit while they sorted out the billing and service, which further added to the inconvenience. I also observed a lack of adequate staff training and customer-handling skills. When concerns were raised, there appeared to be minimal ownership or seriousness toward resolving the issue. Furthermore, seeing a staff member eating tiffin right beside the counter area and wiping hands with a paper napkin before resuming duties did not reflect the hygiene and service discipline generally associated with an international café chain. Such practices are not aligned with expected hospitality standards. Lastly, the beverage quality itself did not meet expectations. I am sharing this feedback with reference to my invoice dated 27-01-2026 (Tax Invoice No. as mentioned on the bill) in the hope that improvements are made in staff training, billing transparency, service efficiency, and overall customer experience.

The food was stale , undercooked and was made with rotten potatoes. The name says it was a crisper was its soggy and cold . When we told to the staff they gave an excuse that they didn’t have the right bowl to cook it and it’s not their fault and didn’t even address the issue . They really don’t care and take accountability. If this is what we are paying for , it’s highly questionable.

If this is the quality of food we are getting at Starbucks then it’s questionable. The potato was stale and the staff just swayed away saying its burnt . The food was not even cooked properly and staff were not responding properly . The staff say we didn’t have the right bowl to warm the food . Highly disappointed and none took the accountability

i ordered a pastry, which was served cold! and the taste was lowkey mid tbh. and i ordered a hot chocolate which also tasted extremely bad. but u bought three cups—they’re of good material though, a bit pricy but satisfactory
