Zingiber hardly ever dissappoints. (unless you order veg fried rice, iykyk 😂) Anyway, their service is top-notch and the food has always been great. Zingiber gives a great perspective to the Bhubaneswar crowd that South - Indian food is not only limited to the vegetarian dosa, idli and uttapam.

I don’t know why the rating is bad, the food and ambience are 10/10. Had been visiting this for a long time but had to write about it when I saw the rating was bad. This is highly recommended.

Giving it a 4 star just because of their “coconut pudding”. It has been my favourite dessert since a year now. Otherwise food is pretty average.

Have been to Zingiber earlier once and a second time yesterday. Have had Irani Fish tikka first time and I liked it but yesterday something just felt off, the marination was less because the fish was the lightest of yellow and didn't taste much of any flavour other than a slight pinch of salt. Inspite of ignoring that, something felt off but couldn't understand to speak up during dining. An hour so after leaving the restaurant, I started feeling the effects of having unfresh food. I would assume the fish was not fresh which prompted me to feel this way and eventually have been suffering the whole night because of it. I know that the preparation time is expected to be 25 mins but it came to me in 10 mins. Leads me to believe quality and standard was not maintained for this particular dish and particular order. My friends ordered Chhole Bhature, a mushroom gravy and roti which was quite good. The fact is when I pay a premium I prefer everything to be perfect not just 2 out of 3 dishes.

Zingiber has been my favorite restaurant ever since. A place where I can get my comfort food without a doubt. But today was an evening of disappointment! I don't know if the cook is changed or the food was stale. The idli was rock and the coconut chutney was so watery. I felt as if I am the wrong zingiber. The paneer gravy had so much oil. I could fry a fish in it. The staffs are so casual don't even bother if you ask them for help! Zingiber take care of these. Hope you are back to yourself. Get well soon.

The staff is extremely unprofessional and rude. They don’t know the C of customer service. Hospitality courtesy is missing even from the manager. They charge you extra for sambar (they don’t give you sambar with podi idli which is one of the most basic things in any south indian restaurant). Upon asking, they rudely reply and give illogical excuses. While the food tastes decent, the pathetic customer service makes this place a horrible experience. Wouldn’t recommend it at all.

This waiter will stare at private parts of women.Every waiter will stare your girl/wife like they havent seen any girl. Please dont bring your sisters or wives to these place. Worst place. I noticed he was looking at bust of every girl possible.

Pretty restaurant with below average food and average hospitality. They specialise in south indian food, which is amongst their worst tasting items not mentioning the premium you pay for it. Ambience is nice but for foodies it's a disappointment.
