Last Sunday, I went to this place with two of my friends for lunch. We ordered fish finger, which serves with sauce. Then we ordered chicken kothu parotta. Next, mutton keema dosa, which serves with three different types of chutney and sambar. Next, we ordered non-veg Maharaja thali. And last, not the least, we ordered cream brulee. The food was delicious. It was heavy for three of us, and it could be shared with one to two more persons. Restaurant has soft lighting and peaceful music. It has a pleasant, soothing ambience.

Over the years Zingiber has made a name for itself when it comes to premium quality South Indian delicacies in a homely atmosphere. Absolutely love the ambience of the place. The Filter Coffee was perfect and forced us to reorder. The classics over here are the Kottu Parotta and the Chicken/Mutton starters. Every dish tells a story. One should really experience this place while they are in the city.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this remarkable restaurant, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I stepped in, I was captivated by the sheer beauty of the place. The restaurant is nestled amidst a lush green setting, with trees and plants surrounding it, creating a serene and inviting ambiance. The interior design is nothing short of amazing. The combination of vintage elements and modern touches creates a unique and sophisticated atmosphere. The large vintage sitting area offers ample space for guests to relax and enjoy their meals comfortably. Lunch We Ordered : Steam Rice Butter Nan Mutton Ghee Roast (Never Ever Miss this) Chettinadu Chicken Curry Mutton Rogan Josh Karuveppilai Chicken Varuval Cheese Cake Baked Yoghurt Speaking of lunch, the food at this restaurant is a true delight. The menu boasts a variety of delectable options, but the mutton, chicken, and South Indian dishes truly stole the show. Each bite was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection, leaving my taste buds craving for more. As for desserts, the baked yogurt and cheesecake were an absolute revelation. The creamy texture and exquisite flavors left me in awe. These sweet treats are a must-try for anyone with a sweet tooth. One aspect that truly stood out during my visit was the impeccable service provided by the staff. They were not only courteous and friendly but also displayed a high level of professionalism. Their attention to detail and willingness to accommodate any requests added to the overall dining experience. Another commendable aspect of this restaurant is the timely service. Despite the bustling nature of the establishment, the waitstaff ensured that orders were promptly taken and delivered. I greatly appreciated their efficiency, as it allowed me to enjoy my meal without any unnecessary delays. Lastly, the restaurant offers a generous parking space, which is a rare find in many establishments nowadays. This convenience made the entire dining experience hassle-free and further enhanced my overall satisfaction. All in all, this restaurant is a hidden gem that has everything one could ask for. From its stunning aesthetics and delectable cuisine to its exceptional service and convenient amenities, it truly excels in every aspect. I highly recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a memorable dining experience in a beautiful setting. Food - 4/5 (Chicken could have been much better) Staff and Service - 5/5 Ambience - 5/5 Location - IRC village, Bhubaneswar One best part is you have to keep your shoes/sandals at the Ground floor and change with their slippers , this initiative keeps their Place clean and odour free.

This place serves authentic South Indian food. The prices are on the higher side. However, nothing can match the taste. The restaurant has various sections, both indoor and outdoor. There is a seperate section for the corporates. The service was good, the staff was very polite. Tried idli here which was mind blowing. The taste samabar and 3 different varieties of Chutney blow my mind. The Chettinad chicken curry was good too. Overall a great experience and would surely recommend.

Vegetarian totally not for you people. Nonveg was very tasty(the chicken chettinadi and malabar paratha). The butter garlic dosa was totally a waste of money and the paneer tandoori was also not worth the money.and the chicken keeema dosa was also ok ok. The best was fresh lime soda(😂). Ambience was really beautiful and photogenic. The worst was....a chef was screaming like whole time(ambience was so peaceful to enjoy but the chef was screaming like hell)

Order mutton ghee roast thinking it to be authentic mangalorean recipe since it’s a South Indian restaurant but it was horrible! It was more of mutton do pyaaza! The Color was not fine recipe was different and mutton was uncooked!Asked the chef and complained about it but he was too egoistic to admit it and said it was management who provides with the recipe and this is our mutton ghee roast! We are very regular at your restaurant but was disappointed. No more trying this recipe again! Yesterday (Sunday) I had gone to this restaurant with family. While placing order for Veg Maharaja Thali, the waiter told us in a straight face manner, ‘we don’t serve veg Thali on Subdays, better try our non-veg thali’. He didn’t even bother to know that we are pure vegetarian. I fail to understand the logic of not serving items that are already mentioned in menu. The food we ordered tasted average. Would drop this restaurant from our ‘frequently visited’ list 👎🏽

The food was average at best. You can get the same quality food at much lower price. The wait time was more than 50-60minutes. By the time the food arrived, my appetite was gone, and the movie for which we were supposed to go, had started. I strongly feel there should be a change in management, for the restaurant is extremely poorly managed for the price range that they cater to. I hope to never visit Zingiber again. If I want to have average food, I can as well have it at some other place with better service and lower price.
