I was wondering if Barbeque Nation in Bilaspur is at par with Barbeque Nation in Bangalore or of any other tier-I city. Overall, I had a nice experience with the Non-veg buffet. The ambiance was good and the overall service was great but the servers lacked a little bit of co-ordination and hence were chaotic & bit slow while serving. The Pani Puri was decent and could've been better if even sweet chutney would've been served with it. Coming to the starters - The chicken & the prawns served on skewers were really fresh but they lacked proper seasoning or marination and hence tasted bland. Quality of Prawns was amazing. Fish skewers were good. Brocolli & Pineapple were good too. Mushroom was just ordinary. Chicken wings tasted good though. Chicken minced kebabs were bad. Now coming to the maincourse - The Chicken Angara was the star of the entire spread. It was truly delicious. Mutton Rogan Josh tasted more like Mutton stew as it was extremely bland and lacked bold flavours. It neither had enough salt nor had any spices. Mutton Rogan Josh as the only Mutton dish, that too not cooked to perfection, was an utter disappointment. The Naans were pretty dry (maybe the dough was refrigerated or wasn't prepared fresh) & the butter on it, didn't taste like butter. Dal fry was outstanding & better than Dal Makhni. Dal Makhni was a scam in the name of Dal Makhni. Gulab Jamun & Moong Daal Halwa were absolutely fantastic. The ice creams & pastries on display were pretty basic & didn't offer too many options to choose from. Total damage incurred by me (1 person) was INR 881 (incl. GST & Service Tax). Moral of the story - It's a good wholesome deal but they just need to add a little bit of more salt & spices to the meats & curries. I wish the table had salt & pepper dispensers and extra cutlery. A must visit eatery. Keep it up. 💯

A Mixed Grill Experience at Barbeque Nation, Bilaspur Recently, I had the opportunity to visit Barbeque Nation in Bilaspur, and overall, it was a satisfying experience. The ambiance was pleasant, and the service was prompt and courteous . Barbeque Nation is known for its fixed price 'all you can eat' concept, providing customers with a diverse spread of delicious food in a pleasant and casual setting. As a Keralite, my palate leans towards seafood, and while the restaurant offered a variety of options, the seafood selection was somewhat limited. Aside from prawns, the fish options consisted of local Talab fishes . While the available fish was flavorful and well-cooked, a broader range of seafood choices would have been appreciated . One suggestion I would make to Barbeque Nation is to consider adding pork items to the menu. Pork is a beloved meat in many cultures, and its inclusion could attract a wider range of customers. Despite the limited seafood selection and lack of pork, the quality of the food and service was commendable. Barbeque Nation is known for its unique buffet offerings that cater to a wide variety of tastes and preferences. With a few additions to the menu, it has the potential to become an even more desirable dining destination in Bilaspur.
