I went to this place a few days ago for a family dinner. The place was almost full. The ambience was really classy, the location was really warm and cozy. I found the staff very courteous. To my amazement , the menu was totally different than what i expected. It had a lot of variety ranging from continental to middle east to pan asian to indian. Since i had a typical indian dinner, i can now surely say that 7 West restaurant is the right place for you if you want to relish typical homestyle indian dishes. We had a sumptuous meal which included Murgh lababdar, Dal makhani and Kadhai paneer. Starting from the chicken, it was delicious!10/10 for the recipe and taste.Juicy chicken in a thick subtle spicy gravy felt like heaven.. Their Dal makhani was one of the best dal makhani that i had in chandigarh since the past few years. Not very creamy but the flavour was totally unexplainable. It was complimenting well with the Garlic nan. Kadhai paneer was the best dish amongst all. I am not a very paneer loving person but this dish just changed my perception towards kadhai paneer. Moderately spiced gravy with cottage cheese with a hint of coriander seed and kasuri methi was delightful..The gravies were accompanied with tandoori roti, missi roti and garlic nan and Fresh garden green salad.Overall rating can be given as follows Food-4.5/5 Ambience-4.5/5 Service-4/5 Cleanliness-5/5 Their excellent hospitality made this dinner a memorable one for the family!Looking forward to another meal at 7 west in the coming days.! :)

Ambience 3.5 Service 4 Starters 4 Soup 4.5 Main course 3.5 Music NA It's a very nice place for a lovely dinner.. Manchow soup was delicious.. Do try cottage cheese with macaroni salad, the peer slices are amazingly tempting.. Hara Bhara kabab - the standard!! In main course, chef's special is a sweet recipe. Lots of options on the bar menu as well. Barcelona beer is okay.. All in all - good experience !!

Western court is one of the best places to dine in with family. My all time favourite here is the dahi kebabs which are a must try if you visit this place . I also tried the corn salt and pepper, honey chilli potatoes which are also good .

Went here for the first time when I had my first Birthday without a party...though upset for not having a party on my 15th Birthday (because of Board Exams)...I was elated when I indulged into the delicious food at western court! The interiors are bright and lively! The Indian food is not so exciting, but the Navratan Korma and other cashew paste Indian dishes are completely worth a try! Vegetarian food is good only for the starters and that too the tandoori starters. Amongst the Non Veg lemon chicken is the best! ---update 25 December 2014---- Once upon a time favorite restaurant is still offering good food, yet they just need to improve the hygiene part. The place is quite untidy enough to upset your dining experience. The rating goes low from 4 to 3.5 for the same!

Poor service ordered chicken got paneer and after that when told to replace it they took 30 minutes as if they are serving it for free. Almost we had dinner without chicken.

I ordered prawns in red curry. The dish should be named Mushrooms, Vegetable with Prawn Touch. Indeed Prawns were to be searched in plenty of Vegetables. Taste and Preparation was good. Only thing was prawns got hidden by vegetables to escape from a crush under the molars!!!
