We tried Benne Dosa and Andhra veg meal. Dosa and sambar were average and need some improvement. Veg meal was really good, specially the vegetables and would like to eat again.

I had lot of hope as we wanted to eat authentic Andhra food. But was disappointed with the way it was cooked. Andhra chicken and Paneer 65 was good but their Rawa dosa, Masala dosa, Malabar paratha were far from satisfactory. The mini combo was disappointing. The dosa was soggy and it was overcooked as back of dosa was dark black rather than brown. Filter coffee didn’t have aroma of filter coffee. When we gave feed back to the lady chef she was insisting that some people like soggy dosa and some like crispy. Overall food experience wasn’t good

The place is created in the sidewalk of moti mahal delux which personally doesnot feel appealing. All the people were walking past us to enter moti mahal. we ordered the tawa fish on banana leaf which was okayish. The mutton was overcooked, couldnot even bite into it. The couple right next to our table was told that the mutton is finished. I wonder if we were given a reheated dish.

Dosas were not crispy at all. Vada was also thick and soggy. Sambhar was very bad. No authenticity or anything. Please improvise on your food quality and don’t give excuses like “plain dosa is crispy whereas filled one is not” it’s not true. Many places in Chandigarh are serving really good South Indian food so competition is very very high. Only ambience is good!
