I visited Blue Tokai Coffee Roasters yesterday and ordered a seed smoothie bowl. Unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. The dish didn’t taste fresh or right from the beginning. We even informed the staff about it while at the restaurant. Instead of preparing a fresh dish, they took the same bowl back, added some ingredients, and served it again, which was concerning. After consuming it, I started experiencing throat pain, followed by shivering and a feverish feeling later in the night. This raises serious concerns about the quality and freshness of the food served. I strongly recommend that the restaurant ensures proper food quality and hygiene standards, and serves freshly prepared dishes rather than trying to modify returned food. Overall, this was a very poor experience, and I would rate this outlet quite low.
