The good and service was absolutely brilliant. There is an item which is not in the menu anymore but the chef happily prepared the dish for us and it was delicious as always.

Extremely disappointing experience with food hygiene at Falcon Lounge, Panchkula. We have been regular visitors to Falcon, mainly because it has a play area in the basement. As parents, we often order something for our kids once they are done playing. Unfortunately, the food hygiene has now become a serious concern. Last month, I ordered vegetarian dim sums, only to discover that I had been served non-vegetarian dim sums. I chose not to create a scene at the time and simply let it go. Today, we ordered dim sums again. While feeding them to my 3-year-old, I found a live bug, roughly the size of a ladybug, in the food. This is simply unacceptable, especially when food is being served to young children. I didn’t want to create a scene last time, and I didn’t want to create one this time either. But how many times are customers expected to overlook basic food hygiene and quality-control failures? As parents, we cannot compromise on what our children are being served. A restaurant that caters to families and has a dedicated children’s play area should be held to an even higher standard when it comes to food safety and hygiene. Honestly, I wish we had someone like Tukaram Munday here in Panchkula to take such food-hygiene issues seriously. At this point, Falcon doesn’t feel like it is taking its customers’ trust seriously. Serving non-veg food as vegetarian and then finding a live insect in the food on another occasion are not minor mistakes — these are serious hygiene and quality-control issues. And given that Copper and Crumbs is a sister restaurant, this experience also makes me question whether the same food-handling standards are being followed there. I hope the management genuinely investigates this rather than treating it as just another customer complaint. When you are feeding children, food safety is not something you can afford to get wrong.
