I was at the Hotel on night of 18 / 19 August 2019 and had a Late Check in at 8 pm . Obviously I was famished and after a quick wash went down to Flavour - All Day Dining, at the Hotel I was delighted to find a Street Food Festival going on priced at just Rs. 999 + Taxes Without much ado I feasted on Chaat, Egg Rolls, Keema Pau, a host of South Indian Specialties, Momos, Bombay Sandwich & Choley Bhatoorey!! Boy O Boy was I stuffed !! But when the Executive Chef there, Mr. Bidesh Biswas, offered me a free Tasting Portion of Chicken Biryani & Chicken Makhanwala, I just couldn't refuse ... It was simply outstanding. I'm not sure till when the festival is on but my advice to Chandigarh Foodies, is please don't miss it !!

Flavours at Hote hometel is one great restaurants in tricityz Recently visited them during their Googly food festival which was all about vegitriean food. How amazing it was to find chefs puting efforts to making a one of a kind food festival . Using all veg items they managed to give flavours of satisfaction to even hardcore non veg people . Appericiate all efforts to the chef to present such amazing food. Would surely look forward to visiting them again

#sanjayhotelreviewalert Hometel Chandigarh Room No 417, Jan 17 to Jan 18, 2023 The Property: Hometel is a four-star hotel located in Industrial Area Phase I, about five minutes walking distance from the famous, and the city’s largest mall, Elante mall. This place has got 114 keys. The Place: The Superior Rooms admeasuring 196 sq feet are a wee bit small for comfort, especially when it is double occupancy. However, the cleanliness and comfort were distinct. Pristine white bed sheets, comfortable bed, well-functioning Samsung LED TV, AC, and wifi, adequate number of bottled drinking water, the sufficiency of mobile charging points. The enclosed bathroom in the aqua area was another plus. The Platter: The breakfast was nice - the idlis, dosas, omelets, puri bhajis, poha, corn flakes, grilled tomatoes, potato wedges, cut fruits and salads, and the sabudana kheer kind. The bakery items included muffins, doughnuts, and carrot cake. All good, but a personal opinion - maybe a wee bit more premiumness can help, given the class of the hotel. The People: Decent people, courteous. The GM, Mr. Sunil Khera came across as a soft-spoken and well-experienced in the field kind of gentleman. The Proclamation: Chandigarh is flooded with upscale hotels at around the same rates as this. So good going, but some differentiation factor is definitely needed. Disclaimer: I have no business association with this place, nor have I been influenced to put in this review. My recommendation is based purely on personal experience.

Hometel has always been one our favourite restaurants in the tricity. We’ve attended innumerable weddings at this place and the food has been good each time. This time I got to attend the Mango – King of Fruits Festival and I tried a lot many dishes like: - Aam Chop / Paneer Satay in Peanut Butter Sauce / Cigara Boregi, Mango fish Tikka / Chicken Dumpling in Teriyaki Sauce / Chicken Quesadilla – all the Staters were amazing. - Mango coconut & Pineapple smoothie, Mulligatawny Soup were all good and wholesome. - Manga Kozi Curry / Murgh begum Bahar, Slice Fish in Chilli beans sauce / Grilled Fish in Mango Jalapeno Sauce, Nargisi Kofta / Kurkure Bhindi, Veg Thai green Curry / Malaysian Veg Noodles, Aam Dal / Dal makhani, Steamed Rice / Chilly Basil Fried Rice in Mains were quite good alongwith the Assorted Indian breads. - In Desserts we had Mango Rasmalai / Mango Lachha rabdi / Fresh Mango Cheese Cake, Strawberry Mouse / Mango panna Cotta / chocolate Truffle Pudding, Baked Mango Yoghurt / Flavored Rasgulla / Banofee Tart were all well prepared but somehow I feel, the desserts can still be improved, they lacked the Wow factor.

We just experienced the 'Googly Veg Festival' at Hometel Chandigarh and were bowled over by the delectable spread crafted by the talented chef, Bidesh Biswas. What got my taste buds singing was the scrumptious dessert - 'Chiroti'. It's a dessert that had fried maida dipped into chashni! The cherry on the cake? An intimate family evening with melting moments & steaming hot gossips! You too can indulge in this experiential offered till 22nd Sept! #StayTuned to ESCAPADES LIFESTYLE PVT LTD ( Delhi NCR ) for everything food!

Nothing bonds the family better than soulful food and heartfelt laughter. I had the privilege to cherish both at the 'Googly Veg Festival' hosted by Hometel. Thank you chef, Bidesh Biswas & #EscapadesLifestyle for inviting us tonight. You guys truly have aced the game of food & hospitality!
