Aroma was the first Hotel of Chandigarh and stands tall as an Icon synonymous with the rise of Chandigarh as a city. Right in the middle of the city beautiful it needs no introduction. I'm sure we've all been to the eating house so many times, so this time we decided to try the Buffet at Grapewine, Aroma's premier restaurant. It was a lavish spread consisting of: Salad & Raita: Green Salad, Sweet Potato Salad, Veg. Roasted Pepper Salad, Russian Salad, Chicken Tikka Pepper Salad (too good) , Dahi Bhalla, Pineapple Raita. All the salads and Raitas were according to the recipe and all quite good. Soup: Cream of Almond Soup (Lovd this one), Chicken Sweet Corn Soup Main Course: - Wadi Pulao (as good as Chicken Biryani for Vegetarians, too good), - Steam Rice, - Mushroom Baby Corn Fried Rice, - Dal Makhni (very good), - Mushroom Dhaniya, - Stuffed Capsicum, - Kalmi Paneer in Honey Sauce (Unique & too good), - Paneer Tikka Butter Masala, - Mutton Rogan Josh (this was superb) , - Butter Chicken (top notch), - Lemon Chicken (loved this one too), - Assorted Breads Desserts: Gajar ka Halwa, Brownie/ Dry Cake/ Lemon Souffle, Cocktail Murrabba. All the desserts were delectable.

Aroma hotel has always old and classic charm. Been visiting here since childhood  there food quality is consitant and resturant has always been cosy ,even after renovation number of times over the years. Tried buffet this time  food was simple, but flavourful and delicious. In mains rogan josh was delicious as always. Wadi pulao and dahi bhalla  were too good. Deserts were nice speacialy moong dal halwa. Value for money.
