This is one of the old-school cafes that you will love to visit again and again because of the warm and cozy interiors and the lip smacking food. I love their claypots, both chicken and veg. There will be a flood of exotic veggies that I am sure you might not have eaten in any claypot earlier. The fresh rice along side make a perfect meal for lunch or dinner. Then their award winning chocolate ice cream dessert. You must must must try that. They serve their drinks with a cherry in it and I dont know but I really like seeing that red color in every drink. Even in my mojito I had a huge bright cherry to make me smile. Absolutely love this place and food.

This is the type of place where you would go for an *aristocratic* date. The decor is very classy and the vibe is something straight from a European eatry. The light music in the background is also perfect, which gets more energetic and louder, as the evening progresses. Although the decor may be fabulous, the seating options are not all that great. The place feels congested and the chairs aren't all that comfortable. They could really work on this. The service is decent enough. The staff is courteous and service is reasonably fast. Coming to the main topic, the food, the menu options are quite limited. Especially for vegetarians, it is a tight spot. The food itself is good, decent portion size, good quality and satisfactory taste. There is nothing extraordinary about it, but it ticks all the right boxes. We tried the crispy lotus stem, dragon rolls and biryani, followed by their bread butter pudding (this was just delicious). They were gracious enough to prepare peanut masala also, on special demand, but it was too spicy for our liking. They charge quite the premium for what they offer. And I can definitely think of places that offer an on-par experience, maybe even better, for lesser. Can be visited again, sometime, if sitting and talking is your priority, and you are not too big a group.

Went to Orchid Lounge for lunch but the experience was sub-par. The mutton was very good, but the Dal Moradabbadi had neither salt, nor any spices. The chicken Dak Bungalow Biryani was decent but did not have big pieces of chicken. Tried their chicken dimsums for starters; they were good but a portion had just 6 pieces. The food is decent but just not worth the price. The drinks were also okay- the mimosa wasn’t out of this world. Overall, nothing to write home about. Completely avoidable place.

Ordered grilled fish for two it was nice mashed potatoes were bland i had ordered two plates they only sent me one lemon sauce till i asked and their fresh watermelon juice was over priced 425 rs for one glass water bottle they never informed that we have to pay. And juice was fresh nothing extra added. Didn’t order alcohol still the juice was for 425 per glass it would have been better if I had ordered drinks

Decent ambience and old school vibes. Quality of the fish served was abysmal, while the prices are 5 star high. Even a cute date couldn’t get the monies worth.

A restaurant with great interiors and a solid backing of sister restaurants which are excellent , this one is avoidable at best . The menu is very limited and is a potpourri of mashed cuisines that do not do justice to any in particular! 1. Haven’t seen such disinterested staff in today’s competitive era Staff ruins a place and the meal is practically a gone case for me of the servers are lackadaisical or rude . 2. The prices are too high for this kind of a place and it is better to head to XO at the Marriott which is right round the corner . XO serves amazing food and the hills wouldn’t be too much different at both the places .

Tried Orchid Soup : 7/10 Spring Rolls : 9/10 Thai Veg Curry : 0/10 Thai curry had no flavour, Milk with Veggies and salt Lemon Ice Tea : 0/10 : Cold Little Flavour less tea water with no taste at all . Awfully Poor experience Paid 2500, wasnt worth paying Rs 1000 as well Fix your services, i am paying for food/drinks which have some taste not blande tasteless stuff

We were 6 people and we ordered a bottle of whiskey, staff told they can't serve bottle for less than 15 people, you have to order by peg, this is illogical and abnormal, staff is not ready to cooperate at all, the manager is so rude , he doesn't even care if someone if leaving the empty hotel. Never go to place. Not seen such a unhappy place in whole Chandigarh ever.

Staff is non-courteous and rude. They conveniently ignore you and don't come till you call them a few times. Dirty tables and poor service.
