It's a small outlet just near the bus stand. Walked in around 4 P.M and it was almost empty. Ordered chola bathura and chilli parota but unfortunately both of the dishes were unavailable, so we had to re-order. We at last ordered cheese pav bhaji and bread chenna. Both of the dishes were delicious and tummy filling. The bill was around 150. Total VFM.

In Chennai we wanted to have some authentic Tamil cuisine. After little bit of searching online and taking opinions of the locals , me and my colleague landed at A2B at Ananda Bhavan. Mainly a sweet shop famous for its mouth watering sweets such as Mysore Paak it also has a small vegetarian restaurant connected to this shop. The ambience is not something to talk about. Very simple set up with few tables. I ordered for Adai Avial which was displayed with a picture on the wall. It is basically a thick dosa with traditional mix veg avial and few pieces of jaggery ( gud in Hindi ). I really liked the combination. My colleague opted for Idli Sambhar which also was tasty. The idlis were light and fluffy. We wanted to try something else also, so we opted for Ghee Set Dosa. The Dosa was huge with two different Dosas on the plate served with three different chutneys and Sambhar. The Dosa was thin and crispy and loaded with Ghee. Absolutely loved the Dosa but unfortunately I couldn't finish that one. Overall we had a nice satisfying meal. All I can say is just go for it.

My first visit to this branch of A2b for dinner after work... the place is not that big , so with few people seated the place looks crowded. ordered a plate of parota kurma and the guy took his own sweet time to bring the order. since i was't in a hurry it did't bother me much.  The food tasted good , cant complain about that. but they really need to do something about improving their service. the A2b name alone won't help much. the staff seems to be very much engaged in their own affair arguing quit loudly good enough to annoy the customers. remember its a small place. Once i finished my dinner , this is where i really got annoyed , as i was kept waiting for the bill, because the staff was arguing and fighting among themselves rather than attending to the customer.  A2b really needs to look into their staffs behaviour and management.

Review is only for the mini meals i had here. Simple and well prepared. Served hot. Mini meal for 80/- comes with Chapathi, Kurma, sambhar rice, tamarind rice, curd rice, one poriyal, vadam, rava kesari and pickle. I loved the chapathi and kurma. The combination was superb with soft chapathis and a great tasting curry. Sambhar rice is the pick of the meal. Made with lots of vegetables, this sambhar rice stands out when compared to its competitors. Tamarind rice, curd rice and rava kesari were good. Nothing to complain. Just a no fuss meal delivered at affordable price. Must try for the mini meals.

Went for a normal lunchgood for sweets and South Indian meal we ordered a special A2B South Indian meal overall it was good but the soup was not up to the make and in name of fruit salad only puppaya and pineapple was severed

Tried mini meals there. Just an average experience. Veggies were not so great and even they didn’t served sambhar too. But ok if you are too hungry and need just basic food .

Took a long time to serve the soups and starters. Pumpkin soup was not good. Poori masala was ok. Palak paneer was ok.
