My Sunday breakfast ritual and a regular at this place for ages now. Specialises in snacks, chats n sweets. Hugely popular for their fafda-jalebis which i must say is one of the best in chennai. I always do a takeaway from here. Sundays are crazy and the waiting period can go upto an hour to get the fafdas packed but i must say the wait is worth it. The fafdas can be tried at any of their other branches too n it tastes the same. I like some of their namkeens like papdi, ghatiya and especially the Special Ajnabi mixture which is a mix of lot of items and flavours. Its a must try item. Anyone who's looking for fafda jalebis, look no further.

The best sweets center you can find. They have really large varieties which are colorful and delicious. You can also find few hots snacks here which are mostly traditional. The dokhlas are best in hots. I heard that a box with sweets of all varieties of this place, each of one in quantity can be a best present.

The notice about some winter ladoo (forgot the name and couldn't recollect) left us inquisitive and we did try one. I guess it's more of acquired taste and I didn't like it a bit. It was made of gondhu aka the edible gum along with lots of spices which I predominantly use in curries and gravies. Other than this whatever we had were yummy. Dhoklas were soft and juicy and spicy. Crispy palak chat with dahi was excellent. Jalebi was crispy and good. The final touch of lime mint cooler was simply divine.

I had been introduced to Ajnabee sweets' jalebi ghatia by a neighbor. The combo - sweet jalebi with ghatia, raw mango pickle and shredded cauliflower is lip smacking. So with great expectations I ordered samosas, vada pav and jalebis one evening. Everything was tasty and heart warming. The samosas had my favourite filling - peas and potato with minimum masala and fuss; the vada pavs had a nice spicy chutney in it and the jalebis were fried in ghee. All in all their food was good and worth ordering again.

This is one of my favourite chaat places in the city, other and than Gangotree. The Bhel Puri, Dahi Papdi, Aloo Sev Tikki and Pani puri are my personal favourites. The Bhel is slightly spicy but I love the chutneys, sweet and spicy that they add to the chat. The Pani puri is really scrumptious, I love the texture of the pudi. Coming to the sweets, the gulab jamuns and rasmalais are good but a couple of times I found it rather sweet. The sugar syrup isn't thick and very watery. The rasgulas were a little rubbery when I had them the last time. The panneer rolls, spring rolls and aloo cutlets are cheap and some good quick yummy bites. The savoury items that are packed and placed on shelves are all fresh and crisp as well. My favourites being, the chhakli and the friyums.

This is a small outlet but varieties are really good. Seating space is not much. Tried their cheese burst Vada pav, pizza poori, cheese corn canape, cheese masala puff. The cheese masala puff was too good. Pizza poori stuffing was good too .. The other two were average.

I was quite disappointed. I didn't receive what I ordered. I was informed that the item I ordered was not available. So I ordered a different one. But again they sent me some other item. Quality is good however.
