We were a group of 3 people and we ordered one fish briyani, one Chicken briyani combo with tandoori chicken and one American Chopsey which is my all time favorite dish. The fish briyani wasn't so good as the fish wasn't cooked properly but the American Chopsey and the chicken briyani was really great.

I usually have shawarma and grilled chicken which is my favourite. If you are a shawarma lover then do visit this place. Price is also quiet reasonable We also order some gravy and naan for home delivery which is VFM and qty is also more

Al Reef Kottivakkam is very close to my work place so we end up ordering lunch very often. Quick delivery by very efficient staff members. We usually order the Chicken Tandoori, Paneer Tikka, Paneer Kadai, Mutton Masala and the taste is good for the price they charge. Value for Money. I recommend Al Reef when you wish to order and eat a good meal at home. Food: 3*/5 Value for Money: 3*/5

Ordered for a ALREEF spl chicken biryani...!! Came with in five minutes of time... The quantity was enough to fill my tummy!! The food is well decorated with cashews, coriander leaves and minced egg white over that..! Taste wise I miss something coz it's very much like Malabar kinda biryani I guess!! Okaish food with good experience!!

This review is for a home delivery. It's the first time ordering from Al Reef, Kottivakkam. Ordered Chicken Biryani for lunch yesterday. The Biryani was just OK though the chicken was quite soft and good. The quantity was comfortable for one person.

Please don't marinate chicken in chroline water. Standard is not good. Especially if we order through Zomato using some offer, u put bad chicken. Am not writing this review just tasting one time, I have twice visited the restaurant and ordered thrice online. Please improve Ur quality. Am a big fan of Alreef, but this kotivakam branch is horrible. I now stick only wit taramani branch. Bcos food there is awesome in taramani branch, I have ordered multiple times and all the time, it's good.

Food and Flavour: 1/5 Ambience: 0.5/5 Seating: 1.5/5 Service: 0.5/5 Value for Money: 0.5/5 Having very limited options and being very hungry leads you to places like Alreef. But, the wrong Alreef! I remember eating at Alreef in George Town after tiresome football matches during school days. This was not close to being that good. After wrapping up some work, my friend and I decided to eat. But, it was one of those days where you aren't that hungry, it's about 2:30 and you're not sure what your stomach wants. We struck common ground to meet another friend and her staff making it 5 of us for lunch. We asked if Mutton Biriyani was available and if the biriyani and pieces were prepared together, dum style. The waiter replied it was dum style Biriyani but mutton pieces would be added from mutton gravy. Grilled chicken, Chicken Alfaham and shawarma were not available. So we ordered Chicken drumstick, Prawn 65, Chilli Prawns for starters and Egg fried rice, Mixed fried rice, Szechwan Mixed fried rice, Chilli Egg and Mutton Biriyani for mains. Why the biryani? Cos my adamant friend wanted to taste it still. The 1st plate of the drumstick was good, not oily, tender and right amounts of batter in it. The second plate(ordered a while later) was tender but salty and odd amounts of batter. Prawn 65 was fresh, no oily after taste, just as you'd like it. It was disappointing when we asked for mayonnaise or a garlic dip, one guy said they didn't have, then didn't serve it with these items. Upon asking the third time, they agreed to give for a price. Otherwise the drumstick and 65 was served with shredded cabbage and a slice of lemon. All the fried rice dishes were bland, dry with the mixed fried rice containing rather thick and hard pieces of chicken in it. Pathetic. Chilli egg was decent, mildly spicy. After just one spoon of the biryani, my friend asked for it to be taken back. I found the biriyani being one of the worst I've ever had to taste. The rice and the meat were not cooked well with no flavour in it whatsoever. A definite 'no go' place with bad service, food and ambience. Quite a bit of flies flying about inside the restaurant. Total bill was Rs.1485. Diner's club cards not accepted. We missed to ask for the service charge to be taken off. Seemed womenfolk friendly with just about 6 or 7 tables.

Order Special chicken biriyani for a work day lunch via Swiggy . Delivery is prompt and quick. Special chicken biriyani is nothing but a biriyani with some cashew top of it. One of the worst biriyani i had in recent times. No Flavor and nothing in it. Need loooooot to improve..

Shawarma was utter flop , never try this place which is useless to the core . Al reef has its own quality but don’t know whether it’s a franchise or own brand or chef is not upto the mark
