The food here is not very tasty, especially for the kind of money they charge. I went with my family of four (2 adults, 2 young children). We wanted a quick dinner. We ordered 3 Chicken Fried Rice and 1 Green Peas Masala. The fried rice was bland and more or less tasteless. The quantity was somewhat less, and for the cost of 180rs. per plate, it was overall not worth it at all. The green peas masala was especially awful. To make matters worse, they use those dried peas which are first soaked in water for a night or more, and then cooked. The peas were not soaked enough, or boiled enough, and they were quite hard. Not at all like eating fresh green peas. For 160rs. a plate, they could not even bother cooking the peas well, or simply use frozen peas, which is available everywhere. Cost cutting. Shameful. Total cost, 740rs., and a totally unfulfilling dinner. After experiencing another issue with a restaurant in Egatoor (see my other review, posted together), this was overall quite mood killing.

One of the worst restaurant ever. The server and the manager MR. SAI was very rude. He argued very roughly. Although i paid my bill through the qr code which they showed, my transaction was successful. I showed to them also, they told they didnt recieve money and started to shout. They didnt allow me to speak itself.i was forced to make another payment and was told i will get my previous bill amount as return within few days. Its been one month and no money has come. They are non responsive when i contact them. DONT EVER GO TO THIS SCAM PLACE WHICH THEY CALL AS A RESTAURANT. They will cheat and suck our hard earned money. BEST SCAMMERS OF INDIA.worst behaviour.

Very very worst service i have ever seen. we have waited for more than 1 hr for the food to be served, very very worst experience that we met today, we won't prefer anjappar in future.

Just now we ordered vanjaram fish curry. Fish was spoiled fish total not use for eat even our cat was not eat. Very worst food

Adyar Anjappar is a worst restaurant in Chennai Serving spoiled food.Quality is poor .Any food shop will be better than this.
