In the top floor with an amazing view of the sea and natural breeze to relax you. My gang was there for lunch and we were treated well from arrival till we left. The staff showed us some big fresh fishes which he can cook instantly and serve us. After a little examination and prediction we opted for Butterfish which costs us 800₹ We started with ▪️Tava fish fry (Butterfish) which was cooked so well and it was damn tasty. Just loved it like anything. So fresh masalas they used for cooking. We really enjoyed the tava preparation. Even they served with salads and French fries which comes as complimentary. Next we moved on to ▪️ Calamari Pepper fry (squid) Oh !!! Such a fresh and crispy fried calamari I had after a long time. That was too delicious. Served with onion rings, lemon and a bowl of mayonnaise. This dish is highly recommended in starters. And the quantity they provide against the price (300₹) is worthy. For main course we had ▪️white rice and combined with ▪️Prawn masala. A bowl full of prawns cooked in fresh masala. Quantity was good enough to share among four atleast. It was more like a homely preparation. The gravy tasted well with rice. ▪️Egg curry. Gravy was superb and white rice combination made it more delicious!!! We not only enjoyed eating there but also enjoyed the ambiance and the food quality. Service was excellent and the staff was very compassionate towards the customer. For good food in Mahabalipuram and that also beside the beach my recommendation is Bambino. Hygiene and clean ambiance. Go and enjoy the food. happy_my_tummy!!!

An amazing restaurant with a good view of the beach and if you choose the right spot you'll get a view of the Shore Temple too. The food is excellent and fresh, The waiter gave us good recommendations and they did tweak up the spices to suit each of our palates. A small 2-3 minute walk and you'll get onto the beach from the restaurant. The things we tried were - Tawa fish fry 7/10 - Chettinand prawn curry 10/10 - Tiger prawns in two different sauces 9/10 - Fried calamari rings 7/10 Wouldn’t recommend getting chapati as they were burnt, get a bowl of rice instead :) I would come back over and over again just for the Lobster and the views. Definitely recommended !! 😊👍🏻

Good restaurant with beach view and fresh food is served on demand and good customer service and mainly they show us food which they are going to cook and ask us which type we want to get it cooked and mainly it is cooked fresh and cost is affordable and it will be a good experience when we go with friends or family we can eat by enjoying the beautiful beach

After a long hot day of sight seeing at Mahabalipuram, this is the place you want to be. The staff is very polite and they engage in discussing the menu and recommending what could work for you. We had the prawn tawa fry, prawn 65 and Gobi Manchurian. Each of them were very well prepared. The ambience and availability of beer are added bonus.

Stopped by here for lunch one day. We have tried out most of the joints in Mahabs but Bambinos was pending. We tried the Lemon butter garlic tiger prawns, Fish curry and rice and Tawa fried Red Snapper. The Red snapper was insanely good. Delicious tawa masala with lots of garlic and a snapper so fresh it might seemed to have jumped out of the sea into our plates. Prices were quiet decent as well - The red snapper that could feed 2 easily costed us 800 bucks. We had a little confusion with the Tiger prawns though. The waiter said he had tiny shrimp and a bigger tiger variety. I have had lots of tiger prawns, they come in various sizes. Upon asking for the cost the waiter just said 400. When it was served, we saw they were ginormous prawn ! 4 to a plate, each costing 400 bucks EACH. So make sure you clear that up because it unecessarily hiked up our bill and we couldn't even finish all the food between 2 of us. On taste, the prawn tasted ok - ish. Still haven't found a good butter garlic prawn / calamari place in Mahabs except for Le Yogi. The Rice and fish curry was also really good ! I would come back over and over again just for the Tawa fried fish and the views. Definitely recommended !! 😊

You've just got to love the starters in this restaurant. Had the Tawa fish fry, and it was simply incredible. Too good for the price. Got a great view of the beach as well, so a must visit restaurant if you're in Mahabalipuram

It's the best place in Mahabalipuram beach to hang out with your friends and have a good time . The food is good(8/10) and service is good(7/10) . They even serve alcohol and spicy foods . Parking area ✔️

Fantastic fresh seafood. Not cheap but not too expensive. The preparations are really fantastic. Great time also as the staff are friendly

On a day trip to Mahabalipuram, our cab driver bought us to this resturant stating it's good. But our experiences here were not so good, the food was not impressive for the price they charged. It's a sea facing rooftop resturant. This place is basically known for their seafood and if you are not too keen of seafood you might not enjoy it as we didn't. The wafting smell of fish and seafood didn't help our appetite. We ordered fried fish and chips which was not what we expected and I couldn't eat one bit because of the smell. The small prawns were okay but not good and the fried rice was average. Overall it was not a good meal and we didn't enjoy. If you don't like seafood and fish it's better to give it a pass.
