A great restaurant that serves yummy food. The place was crowded when we reached. So the delivery was slow. But the positive side of that was the food served also got digested before the next item arrived. Coming to the food now, the soups were beyond the best. We had a bowl of pumpkin soup and mushroom soup. Both were perfect and we enjoyed them a lot. The pear and goat cheese salad was also lip smackingly tasty. Everything else we ordered was also very good.

we visited a couple of days back to celebrate my kids board exam results and were very pleasantly surprised with a special brownie from the owner herself.. the chef also went out of the way to personalize our menu.... so thumbs up on the great service... also, the food was amazing... made for a perfect outing... humble thanks to Bagi and her team for making our evening so special! ... guess one family has just been converted into a loyal customer!!

Basil With A Twist is one of my favourite places for dining. Right from the food, to the ambience, and the service, the restaurant provides nothing but the best. I love the dessert here, and the main course.

Eclectic, quaint and cozy!  That's Basil With a Twist for you, located at Habibullah Road Chennai. Have been a frequent here for quite some time now with no regrets. The ambience is quiet and laid back.  The seating is comfortable with ample space. The service is passable though you need to wait a while to get their attention.  The pricing is a tad bit high, though. Minestrone Soup, Grilled Fish with Pepper sauce and the Frittata were swell.

Good place for Italian type food. Ambience was neat. Polite service. Chicken thick soup was outstanding. Creamy and tasty. Fish finger was good. Chicken lasagne was excellent. Garlic prawns we dint like it. Zero spice and half cooked. Beef Bites was below average. Expected a lot but masala smell was still there and not cooked properly as well. Watermelonade was good. One time polam just for their soup and Chicken Lasagne 😎

Chicken quiche, Chicken stroganoff, shepherds pie and chicken roulade were winners! The quantities of starters is embarrassing tiny though main course is sufficient.

Very average place, the food is very normal tastevise, nothing extraordinary for the prices on offer. The pizza was ordinary, so were the starters (fish fingers, Yakitori, Peri peri beef).. Service was fine, staff is friendly

Ordered from here and found a cockroach in the food!!! Awful. If the cockroach is actually in the food imagine how many cockroaches must be roaming around in the kitchen!! I was a regular customer 5 years ago - the quality has come down a lot. Ordered the cheesecake and the portion size is very low. The blueberry coulis with the cheesecake is literally a dash - it used to come covered with blueberry coulis. Very very bad experience.

The peri peri pizza was too awful.....overly spicy and salty. The staff did not have the courtesy to apologise nor offer a discount on the pizza. Definitely our last visit to Basil with a twist
