Having food since 1992 I guess... quality hasn’t dipped one bit.. Malabar fish fry an absolute must! The ambience is nice as always.. Childhood memories all the way!

This restaurant's biriyani is better than other top exclusive biriyani restaurants. Biriyani rates are nominal & they serve good quantity of Biriyani !!

A friend was giving a treat here,so decided to check out the zomato reviews. And well the reviews weren't nice for tgis restaurant. But all the notions evaporated as soon as i saw the buffet spread. Price wise cheap, the food was great.. Both in quality and taste.. Literally all the non veg items were really good particularly the nethili fry. This restaurant struck me as a decent place to host a private team get together with good food at a decent price tag.

It was my friend's birthday and he had invited me to join him for dinner. Since he stays in Ashok Nagar, he told me to get to Gokulam Park Hotel. This was the first time I ever heard about it and was a bit skeptical on the food front. My pal pacified me with the fact that he's a regular here and the food is really good. So I went with whatever he said and I must say I wasn't disappointed. Bharath Restaurant is located inside Gokulam Park Hotel that's right opposite to Ashok Nagar's Hot Chips. It's the first building on the LHS when coming from Ambedkar road and joining the Jawaharlal Nehru road. Thankfully they had valet parking service. The guys were super friendly. They also have sufficient amount of bike parking space. My friends had a couple of beers from the bar at the rooftop and we went to Bharath restaurant that was at the ground floor. Ambience was decent and clean. It was one of those 'could have been better but could've been worse' type of place. Apart from two other tables, the place was empty. Service was quick and efficient. They were really courteous too. We ordered for Hot & Sour Chicken soup, Chicken 555 (apparently their special dish), Mushroom soup, Chicken fried rice, Chicken tikka, Paneer Butter Masala and Naan. The soups were between decent and good when it came to taste. Chicken 555 were chicken, sliced into julienne strips, fried and decorated with a mighty portion of pepper powder on top. It was OKish in taste. Fried rice was really delicious. I really loved it. Paneer butter masala was really good too. Paneer was supersoft. The disappointing dish of the day was the Chicken Tikka. It was dry, overcooked and lacked a good flavor. The bill amount for the above mentioned items was 845rs including taxes. With the quality and quantity offered, I think it's pretty reasonable. RATINGS BREAK UP:- Location:- 4.5/5 Parking:- 5/5 Reception:- 2.5/5 Food:- 3.5/5 Customer Service:- 3.5/5 Ambience:- 3.5/5 Price:- 4/5

Good food. Good service. A decent ambience. A pretty normal restaurant otherwise :) you can try a new place for dinner if you haven't been here :)

Visited this place on a Friday evening for a casual meet up with friends. Place wasn't much crowded and we got seats immediately. This is a three star hotel that's been at this place for a very long time. Location - It's right near Ashok Pillar, inside Gokulam Park Hotel. Pretty easy to locate. Parking - Just like every other star hotel, valet is available for cars. There is ample space for bike parking too towards the left side of the building. Ambience - The ambience was that of an old hotel. Nothing modern, but decent and well maintained. This was a good feel since this is a pretty old hotel. Service - Service was average for a star hotel. Initially we were attended soon, but later the food started to arrive slowly. At the end, we also had to undergo a struggle to remove an extra item from the bill that we never ordered. But the waiters and servers were polite in their responses overall. Food - We tried several types of food as we went as a gang. I will not be able to give a line by line review on each dish as we had lots. The best dishes out of the lot were - tandoori chicken, chilli chicken, chilli egg and chilli paneer. The dishes that needed improvement in my opinion were - chicken fried rice, egg fried rice, chilli prawns and Hawaiian prawns. Both the prawn dishes were raw and weren't cooked properly. Chicken fried rice was like egg fried rice, very less chicken pieces and the vegetables in it were too raw. In fact, I couldn't even find almost any difference between the egg fried rice and the chicken fried rice. Prices seemed reasonable for a star restaurant, but they definitely need to improve on certain dishes as mentioned above, to make our experience and the money we pay, worth while. Location - 4/5 Parking - 4/5 Ambience 3.5/5 Service - 2.5/5 Food - 2.5/5 Pricing - 3/5 VFM - 2.5/5

Tried the Village Feast Lunch thali. It looked interesting. Mutton soup and biryani were good. Vegetables were okay. Overall an average thali.
