We visited as a couple on a Thursday night (May 14, 2026) and the place had a sizable crowd. we had to wait a bit as we had reached a bit earlier than the scheduled time but we were accommodated quite quickly. Coming to the starters the meats were perfectly cooked with extra care to ensure that the prawns weren't rubbery.... however the paneer was the highlight as it was so soft that it would disintegrate with a strong touch. the mains were okayish with the chicken biryani being a standout as there was an abundance of the brista (fried onions) and was very flavourful. I missed the raitha as there was none. the desserts were all really amazing especially the jalebi had that crispiness and when combined with the rabri in the rasmalai, it was sheer bliss. overall in a day and age where the BBQ restaurants have become outright disappointments, this was a refreshingly pleasurable experience which brought back my belief in the BBQ themed restaurants.... keep up the good work Coal BBQ... you definitely will have repeat business from me.... overall a 7.5/10 experience!!

food was very okayish. starters were prepared like in a hurry. Menu was not available till end. some people handled the situation well. unable to communicate since all were speaking Hindi. not the expected experience. but okay. Please have a clear menu. it's misleading.

service and food quality is highly deteriorated, it was painfully slow in service, some of the items in the menu were never delivered to table. also the food in the buffet counters were not refilled, overall a bad experience, I will not consider going again there

Food must be served hot. Many more food options should be kept like other outlets. Service was good. Quite expensive.

The buffet menus were very less in which the quantity was also very very less , we don't have donuts instead of that they have kept waffles but that too no availability, fruits salads also the same , ambiance are good but air ventilation especially we don't find good Ac Temp ( which feel like no air flow ) . honey chicken in that chicken is very hard sausage does not feel the taste of honey chicken , wen we prefer to ask for starters they keep on insisting us to try main course & live counter . main course : mutton biryani no mutton over all coal barbecues marketing hype did not fill the expectation stratification.

Food was quite disappointing overall. The welcome drink was served warm instead of cold, and the barbecue setup was inconsistent throughout the meal. Initially the grill wasn’t hot enough, and after asking for it to be replaced, the new one became excessively hot, causing food to burn very quickly. Service was also lacking. We constantly had to ask for refills, and most of what we received on the barbecue was fish, prawns, and an unnecessary amount of watermelon sticks. Surprisingly, chicken was never served on the grill at all. The buffet experience was even worse. We visited during the 9:30 PM slot, and it felt like the staff were unprepared for late diners. Many dishes were empty, refills were very slow, and some items were incomplete — for example, the malai kofta had no kofta pieces left. Bread options were unavailable as well. Cleanliness was another issue. The white plates had visible yellow stains, and even the dessert spoons felt sticky. Overall, the experience was far below expectations, and the food, service, and hygiene standards were extremely disappointing.
