Sum it up in a word. YUMMY. After a really long time visited Eden, started off with tomato soup which is substantial in quantity so suggest a split if you with another person, As I went through menu starters and mains, I saw the chef's specials and was intrigued by name and also it's description. So went in for Aubergine Permigiana, while the presentation is exquisite, you need to have a full bite to ensure all flavours salvate you to dig in for more. Next onto mixed veg muturbak which is basically parotta with lots of small cuts of vegetables. It was surprisingly tasty for not a fan or parotta, the sides has both broth with cashews and also a raitha again with few add ons to make it look good. Finally we went for a plain roti along with an aloo subszi, roti came in dry as expected and subszi had equal stuffing of aloo ans cauliflower, both were made with care, full cooked and gravy just added to it's taste. Finally onto the desset section and as a chocolate lover, it had multiple choices and went for chocolate one that had brownie and it came with equal amount of fudge, vanilla and chocolate ice cream with a brownie. Again a dish where you need to take a big dip if you want to taste all flavours. The add ons that made me write review, the courteous nature of the waiter who suggested good ones and noticing that we are not great eaters, told us to finish our courses and if needed to order more. In addition, we cancelled the starter of veg cutlet after otdering. He was fine with that even though he had placed the order. In addition the first serving of mains was neat and to the point. The quality of each is substantial, so order as you go along and taste stays with you for quite long with such a filling and excellent desert which makes you wanting more. Onto the minuses is the board showing Eden is like wheres waldo if you are fan of comics along with staricase and ambience have stayed same, but that's just me being finicky pr picky about it. Worth a weekday dining or a reserved weekend dining.

Visited the restaurant after almost 16 years. Some of the dishes were still in the current menu and tasted exactly the same as it was few years ago. Absolutely delicious. This restaurant has stood the test of time. Congratulations and best wishes

Been a regular at Eden for 30 years! Love the food and service. Make it a point to stop at Eden anytime we are in Chennai. There are several unique continental dishes and awesome desserts. Must visit for foodies!

After reading a lot of mixed reviews of how people who revisited the place after years claimed that its lost its quality in terms of food and even crazy wait time, I was really worried whether I should revisit since its been more than 6 years since my last visit. So for this teachers day, my friends and I went with a school teacher for dinner here. We went on a Tuesday night at around 7.30pm, there was barely any crowd and so we got a table easily. We ordered the bharwan paneer and stuffed mushroom for starters which was yum as expected. For the mains we ordered the chef’s baked bowl, lasagne, rissotto, and the spaghetti, the mains tasted pretty rich which an overdose flavour of cheese, got too rich at one point. We got the brownie for dessert, it came with some whipped cream on side as dessert which we dint have but the brownie was nice and hot with melted chocolate and was delicious not too sweet also, just perfect. The food quality is the same as before. For quantity of mains, its sufficient for one person but if you’re a light eater I’d suggest one dish which serves two people.

Food was good. But I want to point out that I went with my mother and as two women, we did not feel comfortable. There were random men constantly walking in and out of the restaurant after interacting with the waiters. It was extremely disturbing and honestly, we suspected some foul play. You can possibly zomato/swiggy the food - but do not visit the Besant Nagar restaurant.

Pathetic response from the restaurant team. We had called at 9.30pm and asked if we can drop in. They said table is available at 9.45 pm and we stepped in at 10pm and they literally denied dine in a very rude way. Such a pathetic reaction from the team. Never expected this from a restaurant I've been dining for years. On a Sunday night not even too late, this is very bad. Pls mention the correct time across your online platforms so customers don't have to put up with such a pathetic response from your team. Having travelled from a long distance just to dine at your restaurant , this is something we don't deserve at all.

The portion sized were reasonable however every item we ordered was bland and tasteless! Bharwan paneer, gobi fry and kadai veg & roti were average, and bland again. The mushroom-cottage cheese bake was decent but could have been better seasoned. Khurmi naan was decent. Avoid desserts as they are absolutely horrid and not worth the price of 250rs for 2 scoops of ice cream.
