Hello Google users, We visited this place for lunch on a Sunday. The whole experience was amazing as the place had a cozy ambience with prompt service by friendly staff. We had the Kerala Special Weekend Sadhya for mains and the Paruppu Vada for starters. The Thali was excellent with all dishes tasting very good. They served the buttermilk before the actual thali was served. The Thali had a variety of dishes including dhal, avial, poriyal, curd, different chutneys. Sambar, Rasam and Mor Kuzhambu were served in separate bowls. For rice they provided 2 options Standard White Rice and Red Rice. They served the dessert in a separate plate which included Ada pradhaman, Payasam and Assorted Cut Fruits. The Sadhya was totally worth it for a price of Rs 425 on a Sunday (December 2025). If you are in and around Poes Garden area in Chennai this place is a must visit for a sumptuous meal!!! Regards, Deepak.

Dined at Ente Keralam and had a really lovely experience- the service was genuinely so good, warm and attentive throughout. We ordered the nei meen tawa fry, Malabar parotta, egg roast, varutharacha chicken curry, ghee rice and tender coconut pudding. The tawa fry was outstanding and easily the highlight of the meal, all the other dishes were comforting and tasty, and the tender coconut pudding was the perfect refreshing finish. Overall, a satisfying Kerala cuisine that I’d happily recommend.

What an exceptional meal! A great spot for mallu food, one of the good ones in Chennai. Solidly fantastic appams, great gravies, and good service. It's definitely reasonable on the pocket as well considering the good ambience. Definitely worth a visit.

Visited on 15 September 2024 for a Onam Sadhya. Booked a slot for 2pm, however we reached late, and arrived at 02:30pm. They denied the seating, and said it would take some time which I completely agree. After 15mins they said they have a seat available and offered a corner table. To my astonishment, while offering the table the person said - "the table offered is only for 30 minutes" in a rude tone. Well, what if my food does not get completed, will you show the door to me then? The food arrived, and I did not know it was a pre-plated service. It was a completely let down for me, as when I inquired during the reservation (made during the last week of August 2024) it was never informed. Such a hyped restaurant in Chennai does a pre-plated service is a shock to me. Well unfortunately I did not have the food because it was a let down for me and the staff didn't ever bother to ask. After we made the payment, one of the staff asked "you did not consume the food", I reverted with the answer which I described above and again, he said fine and moved on. No empathy, no hospitality, nothing.

We had ordered chicken curry at the restaurant. While the curry was fine, the chicken pieces were stale. On informing the staff, they acknowledged it and asked us to choose another dish. We opted for a prawn dish, as we didn’t want chicken again. The prawns were okay, but surprisingly we were billed for it even though it cost more than the chicken. When we raised an issue, the staff refused to take responsibility, stating that we had only ordered the prawn dish. Please avoid this place.
