Visited Erode Amman Mess for lunch and tried their mutton biryani, chicken biryani, chicken chinthamani, and coconut pudding. The mutton biryani had an authentic Kongu-style flavor—mildly spiced, aromatic, with tender pieces. The chicken biryani was equally good, flavorful and well-balanced. The chicken chinthamani was different from the usual peppery version—more of an onion-tomato based preparation, mildly spiced and tasty. The coconut pudding was light, subtly sweet, and a refreshing finish. Overall, a satisfying Kongu-style meal with homely flavors. Visit early to avoid waiting, as the place tends to get crowded. 👍

We received the bill for a certain amount, and when we inquired about paying through Zomato to claim the applicable discount, the staff informed us that the discount would not be credited if we opted for Zomato Dine-In payment. They specifically requested that we pay directly via cash or card instead. Whenever someone tries to avail discounts, these are the common reasons they give to deny it.

when I ordered food on Swiggy delivery for more than 30 minutes they delayed delivery instead they attend only customers eating in the mess.This is not acceptable.Food ordered are already was ready in the mess but delaying purposely for Swiggy or Zomato or Dunzo deliveries. This is bad remarks on this Mess.

I went to this mess recently for dinner. We ordered chicken briyani, mutton briyani,nethili fry. Both the briyani taste was nice . But mutton briyani had so many hairs of goat they didn't wash the mutton properly also every piece mutton had more fat. We asked for idly but the server was busy serving another table and didn't bring our food.he forgot our order.nethili fry was good.

Food was amazing.. But waiters were behaving very unethical.. they just stand next to us and interrupt so much… being warm is fine but it was beyond a way. And after that they just directly ask for tips money.. saying Serthu podunga serthu podunga while paying the bill in gpay which is not at all fine. He was just standing behind us and saying this repeatedly.

Would never order" Butter Garlic prawns" again ,it's just the prawn version of Japan chicken ,which didn't even bend with white sauce....pic showed something else and received something else with the same name
