Icecreams at Freez Zone is a childhood memory when was taste was evolving and I discovered the more popular soft serve then (even now) from this Italian carpigiani machine from Freez Zone, on TTK Road, Mylapore. It was a pricey affair, and I used to ask my dad specifically to UP my daily allowance by 25 rupees on the days I planned to head to this dreamy, fancy place with my friends from school for a soft serve indulgence. The place still exists, and on this visit to chennai I indulged in some #apjpnostalgia as promised. I realised that they have moved away from TTK road to Dr. Radhakrishnan road, next to karaikudi Chettinad restaurant. Yet the place is as dreamy as I remember it, baby pinks and blues, loaded with candy colours on a white canvas. I opted for my classic favourite, a vanilla cone with a chocolate dip, now priced at ₹100, ₹118 with taxes, but the taste still the same and I throughly enjoyed the Icecream as much as the nostalgia.

Has softys , not many places in chennai still do. These were creamy and not too sweet, which some of the cheaper softy icecream places tend to be. It's expensive, but I felt it was worth it.

I love the fig N honey so much that i keep thinking of eating it twice a day. The ice cream is so soft and the little fig pieces and honey make it wonderful.

My friend suggested this place for their creamy softie ice creams. Must say wasn't disappointed. The prices are a little on the higher side but their creations are simple yet tastier than the other softie ice cream brands. Especially their butterscotch softie was good. Loads of nuts is what I prefer on my ice creams. Ordered two of their signature creations. And came out with a smile on my face! Good job ✌🏻

The icecream flavours are very good & tasty. They have only limited varieties of truffles and personally I feel the pricing is too high for very limited varieties. You'll have tough time in choosing your favorite truffle or softys. Overall the experience was good VFM 4/5 Ambience 3/5 Service 3/5 Varieties 3.5/5

I’ve been a patron of this place since childhood. But now reliving the childhood happening. They’ve become way to expensive in par with the other popular chains like cream stone and the quantity is also very less. The ferraro crackle didn’t taste great for the price Sigh! One more favourite haunt cancelled from list

I took my daughter to this place coz i wanted her to experience one of the good old memories from my childhood. However, I felt that the service people were generally irritated and it showed in the way they delivered. I wish they would go back to the olden days and bring back importance to quality and service.

An old time favourite has gone to the dogs. Pathetic is not the word. Quality and service has taken a big big beating. Pls. avoid at any cost
