"OMG, the food was LITERAL MAGIC! 🤯 We tried so many veg options - Dimsums, sushis, tostadas, soups, you name it! Everything was TOP NOTCH and NEXT LEVEL. The sticky rice bowl though... just wow, my fave! 😍 Service was immaculate, staff were sweet and on top of things. They totally made our day special! It’s mine and my other half’s favourite spot right now! Will be back super soon😉 Highly recommend this spot if you're craving amazing food and vibes 🙌"

The food was a very innovative blend of flavours . The drinks were a surprise in their presentation and flavors . Special mention to coffee pork and pork bao . The ginger drink was also interesting with sushi flavours.

Went to Fufu in Chennai after hearing insane hype and because I genuinely love Asian food. My sister and I were dreaming about this meal for a week… turns out we should’ve just kept dreaming. We ordered the soup dim sums, prawn skewers, vegetable rainbow maki, smoked salmon sushi, and bibimbap. The prawn skewers were the only thing that showed up ready to impress, everything else felt like it forgot why it was invited. Service was super quick and attentive, and the ambiance is lovely, great lighting for the Instagram posts that will hide your disappointment. But the food? Sadly underwhelming(just like the quantity), especially for the price. It was also my mom’s birthday, so we really wanted this to be special, instead we walked out wondering if we should stop for biryani on the way home. Maybe it was an off day, or maybe the hype is just louder than the flavours.

Was here a month ago and was so impressed. But I went back today with my parents who are well over 70 and my daughter who is 7. I was turned away with little consideration despite the time being 2.48 pm and their opening hours saying they’re open till 3.30. Not going back solely for the sheer indifference they show to old people.

Absolutely disappointing. We were served what tasted like pre-made sushi, which is just unacceptable at any decent Asian restaurant. The soup dumplings were even worse - the “soup” came in a tiny katori and weren’t inside the dumpling??? completely defeating the purpose. I know my Asian food and this is easily one of the worst experiences I’ve had. Chennai seriously needs to step up its game.
