It's nostalgic to have delicious gangotree food after almost 15 years. The food is so delicious even now just like back then when eating with friends. Had bread chat, dahi papdi chat, Vada pav and malai rabdi. The cost came to little under 350₹ but completely worth it. There are limited places to sit so come on weekdays and come early. Best to come in groups of 2-4 but not more as the place can get really crowded really fast. They have separate stalls for different food but it would be nice if they could increase space.

We recently went for a show in music academy after the show we were do hungry one of my friend suggest we can to go to gangotree, we all went and had amazing chat everyone enjoyed the chat very much...u get many Chat varieties, sweets , and delicious cakes

Good place for chats in chennai. But i felt it pricey compared to Other places in chennai. The pani is the best in this place and their burger pav is also a must try.

Hygiene and Pani puri goes hand in hand here. And its so rare. Taste is good too. They have built a new branch out of my money. Pani puri is love.

After several years had chat in Gangotree outlet yesterday. Have to say, the taste and quality is same as earlier. This outlet is just opposite to Stella Maris college. Parking 🅿️ can be made in front of outlet. Ambiance is simple and decent. Self service place. We ordered Samosa sandwich, Jal mudi and Rabdimalai. Food ordered came in reasonable time. Taste wise everything is good. I go here for their tasty Jal mudi which is not available in many places. Quantity is also more. Rabdi malai is excellent. Pricing is touch higher but worth for its quality. Overall satisfying experience.

Gangotree at Gopalapuram Chennai has been doling out chaats & short eats for decades now and consistency has been their USP. The service is clinical and the place is perpetually cramped but clean. Their golgappe is amongst the best and the chaats are ravishing. Aloo tikki channa and dahi paapdi are a must try. Other staples include sandwiches, dhokla, pizza, pasta, lassi, a choice of savouries and luscious Bengali mithai. A big letdown is the insane pricing for the portions served.

Bought pav bhaji, chana masala, 2 pastries and bhel poori. Nothing looked up to the mark. All seemed tasteless. And also the prices are too high like rocket. Standing in que where there is less space and having paani puri is like giving money and standing like a beggar to eat... Worthless place..

Bought 500g basundi which wasn't fresh, felt like basundi was kept for long time and very disappointed. Considering the amount we pay try to give a good quality foods.

Bad experience...pani puri is ok apart from that we did not like anything. We ordered samosa chaat pani puri and sev puri.
