One of the best places I’ve been to in Chennai. I’m from Bangalore and I’ve always wanted Chennai to have something of this sort. The food tasted amazing and the ambience, man oh man. Perfect for dates, friends reunions and hangin out. Don’t be misconstrued by other reviews. I highly recommend this place. As a foodie myself, I would definitely revisit this place. P.S: Try the Korean Cheese Buns, cappuccino with croissants ! You wouldn’t find something of this sort anywhere in Chennai.

Really liked the food and ambience at Halt. In the fast pace life, I really took a halt in this place. I used to try their drinks, which these guys specialized in. Very recently I tried their food items. It was something really tasty and different, never tasted it before. Variety food. Especially Grilled meat with herb rice, chicken sandwiches. This place is something special. Must try.

Loved the place , be the ambience be the food and their service 🫶 Addicted to their hot chocolate, brownies, croissants, watermelon feta salad , chicken sandwich and many more . Lovely place to chill out with your friends

A coffee shop that has it all ! starting from the aromatic coffee to the cosy ambiance, to the vibe and what not ?! Would definitely come back for more :)

Halt is one of my favourite cafe in chennai. Especially I enjoy their chicken sandwich and iced coffee

The newer management has really screwed this place up, it used to be a really good spot in Annanagar, but due to the recent changes in management, halt has indeed lost its glory. I used to go here every week, but the new people do not know how to handle customers and to deal with people. The crowd has also started to flow from all places and the ambience is not up to the mark. The chicken sandwich here is still the best, so maybe get takeaway and easy this at home. I have even complained about the staffs behaviour to the management and they do not seem to bother. Bad service, bad place, good food.

worst place to drink coffee. the overall place is so much crowded and most people dont even order food or drinks there straight away go to the smoking room. mostly only teenagers are there who are very loud. cant have a peaceful mind and the ambiance is very dull. also me and my friends ordered caramel macchiato and all the people who drank got fever and cold. kindly check with the staff if anyone's health is bad. this could affect everyone.

Had a terrible experience. The staff asked us to leave after finishing our drinks saying people are waiting and there was literally no one waiting to be seated. Such a poor service

Absolutely horrible customer service and everything we tried to order seemed to be unavailable. The coffee we ordered wasn't even hot! Wouldn't recommend at all

Ambience is really good and food is Okish, But Attitude and service is worser than ive been so far. They should know how to treat and greet people.
