Okay, I REALLY like Hot Breads as a brand. I have forever been a huge fan of their sandwich breads. And am happy to report that the quality is still as good as it used to be. I like this place not for any of its extra sweet offerings - pastries and the like. I am here solely for the breads, buns and snacks. I got myself some saada muffins, a pack of sandwich bread, chilly chicken roll and the biggest discovery yet - butter buns! I liked all of it. But the best was the last. Butter buns were amaaaaazing. Yum yum! The place is ultra small in terms of the actual bakery. But the sitting area is vast and well in the shade of the several trees in the compound. All in all, if want bread, go to hot breads.

Good place to have a small snack. They have everything from chat items like samosas to cakes like red velvet cake. The taste is not bad. The only issue is sometimes you feel that the Ambience is too dull.

A bit expensive for a bakery, but the stuff served is really good. They did not have cakes ready made for display, but wait for 20 mins and they will make the cake of your choice fresh. The cupcakes and other snack items i tried were also good. Staff are quick.

Hot Breads - Gandhi Nagar, Adyar Food and Flavour: 2.5/5 Ambience: 3.5/5 Service: 3/5 Seating: 3.5/5 Value for Money: 2.5/5@ I stopped at Hot Breads to get some quality bakes. I decided to try some pastry off the counter. I'm very selective, plus my sweet tooth and dessert senses are seldom active! But, I love cheese cake and apple pies when I'm at it! This place is a big setup with ample car/bike parking. Mixed opinion about the staff(sometimes courteous and sometimes just straight). Been around for over 9 years with outdoor seating options only. Order:- Strawberry pie (₹70) - A Grainy, rough, mildly sweet piece of pie. Not the best and clearly not up to the standards they've maintained earlier but good. Blueberry Cheese cake (₹85) - It's a crime to make anything than perfect cheese cakes. This one was just awfully wrong. There's supposed to be just two or three layers on a cheese cake and the main layer the best, thickest and soft. This one was just a spongy cake with cream in between and blueberry icing on top. Just wrong. Skip. Multi grain while wheat bread (₹65) - Good quality stuff. Rough texture and baked well. Garlic Wheat Bread (₹45) - Congenial. One Can positively get here for the bread options and muffins. The cakes are decently priced and okay. A garbage disposal bin right outside the entrance makes it a bit difficult at times to get over the stench. Much can be done with the amount of space they've got. Mostly functions as a kitchen catering to their supplies to multiple chains I suppose. Wouldn't try anything other than fresh bakes and a few cakes. Total bill:- ₹273/- including VAT.

We recently ordered a chocolate truffle cake for a wedding reception. We gave a design keeping in mind the theme of the wedding and the interests of the bride and groom. Since the cake was for an important event, the way it looked mattered a lot.This is where we were let down. The colours did not match what we had asked for. The cake tasted average but since the cake was ordered for an event, the way it looked, especially the finishing, left us disappointed. The icing on the cake was extremely thick and came off the cake while cutting. This is particularly surprising since the manager and the chef showed great confidence in delivering the cake as expected when we placed the order. We also gave 4 days time to prepare the cake. We hope team Hot Breads takes this feedback in the right spirit and does a much better job going ahead. I wouldn’t recommend people to order customised cakes for important events.

Very disappointed with the cake , I ordered a chocolate truffle for my mother's birthday and we expected it to be really nice and chocolatey whereas it tasted like some local cake ... with some poor quality of cream over it , Not one bit worth Rs.550 , I wish I could get a REFUND for this !!!! Hot breads had such a good name before but now with the competition level so high I guess they are falling shot !!
