Came here after a long time. Brought back memories. Since its self service make sure you know your appetite so you can order before you dine. On any given day the quality remains consistent. Its a nice place for grab and leave too. Order anything on the menu and one serving is good for an individual. South Indian Sambar and Chutneys. Idly, Dosa Varieties, Poori, Pongal and Vada. With a side of Pineapple Kesari. Best for light eat.

I am seeing this hotel for a decade, situated just before IIT Madras while coming from Madya Kailash. Went around 3 pm for lunch and was available at a cost of Rs.89/-. The meals were served in a plate with Chapati (no side dish) Rice, Sambar, Rasam, Curd with Beetroot poriyal, Greens Kootu and Appalam. Taste of the food was ok. Location - 3.5/5.0; Ambience - 3.0/5.0; Food - 3.5/5.0; Service - 3.0/5.0; VFM - 3.5/5.0

Very good tea and coffee and other than a quick bite of pongal or vada, yet to try their other items at this outlet. Seating and tables are basic. Easy on the pocket, taste is good but they could improve on a lot of fronts. For those seeking a quick entry/exit for tea and coffee and quick bites, this is a good place.

This was the least I expected from Hot Chips. An outlet to spoil their reputation.  In mini tiiffin I ordered given spoiled Pongal and Vada. Most of the items in it were spoiled and I throwed it in a dustbin.  Regarding Poori they do not pack masala separately. It was packed with Poori and Poori was spoiled. It was huge disappointment for me. If they have spoiled food why they take order? The food is not worth even for Rating 1.

Worst taste. Had pongal, dosai , idly, coffee and milk. Only dosai was somewhat ok. Sambar, chutneys were even worst. This is near iit, anna Univ and a church. No worries about customers. Still they chose to give this bad. Never going to any hot chips outlet in future

For a cost of 120 plus 6 rs tax Mini Tiffen was worst. (Even vadai was like eli ku vacha vadai). Like other restaurants coffee not tagged along which makes it even more worse. Real waste for tiffen. Hot chips runs only for its koffee

The place was not neat. The place was dirty. Stale food was served for faster service. Drinking water was not good. The masala kept inside the dosa was not good. Please be careful.

I had never ate like this tasteless food it is very very worst hotel don't don't waste your money guys ,if you don't know to cook food close the hotel and go don't cheat us

Very spicy and quantity also minimum and waste of money. Fried rice was not good. Gobi Manchurian was ok.
