Was busy reviewing restos around Adyar and Besant, that I missed this one which is too close to my place. Pandiyas has three joints around royapuram and washermanpet area, all three almost 2 kms away from each other. Ambience: The Ground floor of this particular joint doesn't give you any ambience. Just a regular south indian hotel that looks like it serves only parotta and briyani. The spiral staircase leads to an A/c hall though , to enjoy your food with chill. Food: Don't let looks betray you. Pandiyas provides you with a wide range of menu including spicy chettinad and rich Chinese cuisine. They specialize in their Briyani which is quite different from ones you would get in other chettinad hotels. Their seafoods are awesome too. Service: I must warn you though. The pricetag might take you by surprise. A single serving of briyani can cost you upto 200 bucks. And other side dishes are quite costly too. But I must add this .... :-D They are definitely worth the price :-D . Service is mediocre. Nothing much to speak about it. Overall : If your pockets were full .. definitely your tummy will end up full too :-D :-P .

Early morning breakfast feast at hotel pandias one of the famous and oldest hotel in vada Chennai this hotel has many branches in Chennai and I taste in royapuram branch They have morning briyani like vaan kozhi ( turkey ), chicken mutton etc This place has some authentic taste of briyani but not worth for money 3/5 This place is not a pocket friendly Price wise each dish is costly Even for idly dosa also we should buy a separate gravy for side dish no complimentary gravy for idly ,dosa and parotta This is disappointing Tatse was also average

All the meats, fish are rotten All the panda,s branches are using rotten meats, sea foods and used goat legs.
