We had to visit Hotel Raj Palace Sundar , as we were visiting a person in the nearby hospital in the same locality. We stopped by to have dinner and pack something simple for the patient and kin. Ambience : It was a quaint place very well maintained, old style decor. The entrance and the interiors were well done. Can definitely qualify to be called a Fine Dining Restaurant. Food : They had a good spread of menu in their ala carte. We ordered veg clear soup (loved it), dosa and fish curry(pretty good for a combo meal) and palak paneer (utterly scrumptious) with roti. We packed sambar rice and curd rice for our folks. Was very well made no doubt Service : the steward and the waiters were very helpful. We gave them a number of instructions and preferences and they made sure the food was made as per our requirements . Service was fairly fast as well. Overall a very good place to talk your guests to. Be it veg or non veg. Definite visit worthy.
