Sangam Hotel has been in my radar for quite some time, especially for the midnight fare. After being disappointed by Buhari the last time around I thought I should try Sangam next for later night dinner. Surprisingly through my friend, got to know that the breakfast options are great in Sangam, especially Paya. But I was skeptical about it. Last two times I had Paya in my locality, it was horrible. So, I stopped having it ever since. So, I went to Sangam Hotel in the morning around 9 AM on a not so sunny day. There were lots of young people with cricket bats who were gathering there for tea and also for breakfast. That brought me back a bit of nostalgia. I was happily observing them while I was waiting for my friend. As it was morning, there wasn’t much problem for parking. I got proper space for my car. We settled in Non AC dining. Not sure whether the AC dining even existed. But the Non AC dining was just the way I liked, a no nonsense ambience where food arrives on time. We ordered an Appam, an Egg Appam and of course Paya. Appam was nice, Egg Appam was needless, just wanted to try a different one so did. And the show stealer of course was Paya, nice creamy juicy paya with Mutton legs was droolworthy. With each bite, I was commenting to my friend about how great it was. We both don’t use much side dish so we ordered a Parotta each, which disappointingly was Wheat Parotta, but anything which touches Paya became gold and that too felt divine. We ended up with tea, given in my favorite porcelain glass. The quantity was huge and as we got the last seat we could sit and have a chat for quite some time. This might become a regular abode for me in future.

Pepper paya and chicken grill are to die for. A must try. Also the prawn biryani. It's best to ask the service personnel what's good rather than the menu.

Great taste. They have AC hall for less crowded experience. The sheer footfall is testimony to there good following in the city. Not aware of the portion size, our server recommend us to order in sequence and not in one go. A very hospitable gesture. Much appreciated.

Price is affordable! Taste is a good thing to consider! Just give a try for your dinner plans! Hopefully, you'll not be disappointed!!

Food wise they are doing a very good job. But the only negative I feel is cleanliness. They do not keep their place clean. I can see flies flying here and there. I can see the waiters wearing white and black formal with a tie, when I see a formal waiter I expect the place to be clean. Orelse tell your waiters to wear t shirt and lungi I hope that will suit your cleanliness.

yesterday we had a dinner  sangam annasalai road, we order kerala chicken fry Full and 2 biryani, we are regular customer for sangam  we love that dishes thats way we come to regular, but this time we have food poison and warmitting also ,stomack upset also... so this time is very bad experiance

Very dissatisfied with the buffet menus. Not worth for money. I never suggest to anyone. Very bad. Only plain biriyani, parota, idiyapam is there. Apart from that only gravy's are there. Totally dissatisfied. Not even providing basic dessert. Waste of money. Never go for buffet. Totally waste.

asked for an egg parotta without being sweet.The person in-charge said we have only sweet gravy and that is our rules.When I said whether he can customise the food he replied "No, We can't do it-that is our rules..." I wonder how customers make a second trip to this place...

I visited this place today. The worst food I had in my life. ordered pays. it was stale. I have a strong feeling that they mix beef. totally worthless

Absolutely unworthy. Found a iron bolt in Biryani. And they were not in apologetic about it. Food quality was so bad. Please avoid it.
