While I waited for the train to Mumbai from chennai....and not finding much eating options on the vast Chennal Central Railway Station....I did Zomato and ordered breakfast options for lunch. Lassi: perfectly sweet and creamy and came with environment friendly straw and outer packing, but sadly the container was plastic. Wheat stuff dosa: couldnt trace wheat in the dosa, Beans, carrot and onion stuffing was liberally stir fried in oil, it was little sweet but combo with those same chutneys made a good bite. Kambu (Millet) dosa: Was plain little sour, with onion bits it tasted better with coconut chutney and other other chutney pastes. My overall rating is as follows: Taste: 3/5 Packing:4/5 Delivery time:5/5 Health factor:4.5/5

This is one of best places for breakfast. I really like the food here and taste is very good. The sambhar is so good here and it compliments very well with all the food varities here. The fried idlies are really crisp and they go very well with the chutneys. Its worth a try if you are here. The mini tiffen combo is a decent deal to go with anytime. I will keep visiting this place a anytime am around here. Even the packaging quality of food delivery is very good, so its really easy to order tasty south indian food from home anytime.

They have budget friendly combos which is good and full filling for one person. I have been there for lunch and ordered Madras thali. Thali consist of rice, chapati, side dish, sambhar, rasam, poriyal, kootu, curd, papad, sweet. Taste was awesome and price was nominal too. Service was good and prompt. definitely recommended

They did not pack the black currant shake properly so I got only half of the shake half of the shake got spilt on the way and the shake was not thick

It’s a good place and an unusual find with reasonable price for an occasional outing, definitely a good try, I tried hot and sour soup with was a mostly of mushroom and the paneer biryani was good

While taste is a plus, the service guys do not handle food in a hygienic fashion. In one such instance today, they took two meal plates and placed a shabby serving plate ( right on top of it). Well all that said and done, total reluctance to change the plate with the meal has to be strongly worded, before the change was done. When it comes to hygiene, it’s a long way to go. Guys better catch up. It’s just not taste that matter, hygiene is crucial and could be a make or break for your business. I hope management will take a strong note of it and train the servers in this aspect. Hope to see the change, which will help me change my rating.
