This is a place where you can have authentic South Indian dishes. This is located in main road and easy to locate . They have ample parking space. At the entrance they have placed the board stating the day special dish. The seating arrangement is good and the ambiance is very vibrant . The wall painting gives a authentic feel of Chettinadu theme. The service is fast and well trained staff are quick to take order and serve the same. I have ordered the Biryani Virunthu which gives biryani of different type be it mutton , chicken , prawn and egg. The chicken 65 serves as starter with curd and sweet dish. The menu has good spread and prices are not very high. Good place to have authentic South Indian dishes

Freshness of the food (it wasnt really hot), fish fry too thin n frozen ones, mutton biriyani tasted well but too oily.

Avoid this restaurant at all costs. They serve the same salna under different names and saying it is the right dish. I ordered chettinad chicken kolambu and I got salna, at first I thought it is what they serve but when I saw the same salna served along with briyani I grew suspicious and I asked the waiter who answered in a rude manner saying the difference is the chicken pieces, further questioning the manager he told that they have only one salna and they make minor changes (if you order pepper kolambu, they add fried pepper and curry leaves to the same salna and add some chicken pieces). Literally misleading people. It is the same story for briyani as well. Worst experience ever. Period.

I was charged ₹270 for an Egg Biryani, but to my surprise, they served it along with Veg Biryani. The taste was extremely disappointing — rice was undercooked, flavorless, and not worth the price at all. When I questioned them, they casually said, “Egg Biryani is considered Veg Biryani”, which is ridiculous. On top of that, the staff showed a rude and careless attitude instead of addressing the concern. This kind of bad behavior and poor food quality was not the case earlier, but now the standards have dropped drastically. Honestly, not worth the money or the experience.
