Being a Saturday we opted for veg restaurant and hence we stepped into Leelas cafe. First thing I noticed was ambience was good. We ordered a combo that contains Any veg Biryani with Any veg 65, Cool drink of our choice along with kurma and Kesari. Also we ordered Butter Naan and Pulkha with Mutter Panner gravy. To our suprise food was too good and we had nothing to complaint about. Special mention is the Panner 65 which had a thin crispy layer but soft inside which melted into our mouth. Overall a must try place for vieggies in north Chennai.

Pongal was like reheated again it is so sticky and sambar is do thick. Pongal and sambar was the worst

Please do not go by the reviews. Poorly maintained ambience. Pathetic service. Had to wait for a dosa for nearly 30 minutes. And when we were about to order the main course they said no items were available. One of the worst dining experience. We too went by the reviews given in Zomato. Later found all these 5 star reviews were given just to get an instant 10% discount. The one star can be given only for the taste. But please do not go if u r hungry. Otherwise too this is the least recommended place.
