This place is located in T.Nagar. They serve u the coolest drink from Madurai which is Jigarthanda. A indian version of Milk Shake which tasted really good!!! A must try drink..

The best place to have Jigarthanda. I had special jigarthanda and it was worth every single rupee that I paid for it. It was super delicious ❤

We tried jigarthanda...Very nice taste...on time delivery.... 80% taste was the same as original madurai 's.. would recommend for my friends

Though I had taken jigarthanda in Chennai in other shops, this is first time I ate it in Famous Jigarthanda in Motilal street T.nagar...Being a native of Madurai I had consumed jigarthanda from this Famous jigarthanda shop as they have been in existence there from 1978. The taste is similar to that of they sell in Madurai...special jigarthanda cost rs.50/ and takeaway rs.60/...I must mention about the ice cream they add in this jigarthanda...this is traditional ice cream not like the branded one of Amul or Arun or Kwality walls...the color itself is different...the taste also differs...I heard the milk, used to prepare this cream, is heated in charcoal stove which gives its different taste...ice cream available separately also in cone and cup...

Yes it's the real madurai one. Verified from the Madurai branch as well. So nothing discribe much. A mouth watering yummy jigarthanda is available at Chennai now. In addition to madurai they added cup and cone ice creams as well( RS.10 and 20 respectively). It is just behind the saravana selvarathinam store in mothilal street. Reaching there is lil difficult due to the heavy traffic. The difference is in madurai we will get it in glass and here in plastic cups. The reason they said is water problem in Chennai in cleaning the cups. Overall a must try yummy jigarthanda.

Knowing this the famous jigarthanda of Madurai visited this. The shop is located behind saravana selvarathnam stores in mothilal street, the jigarthanda is awesome and will soon visit this place again

I had a lot of expectations when I ordered the "special Jigarthanda" I was delivered a tasteless, non sweet drink. Just milk with a lot of water and sugar syrup. Very very very disappointed. I would never recommend this place. And won't ever order again. My first and last.
