Lovely and homely food. I had to order food from outside for dinner and was looking to have something that's homely and affordable - that's when I stumbled across Kamakshi Mess on Zomato. I got the curd rice, chappati and kurma. The curd rice was mixed and prepared just the way I like it, the Chappati was soft and the kurma did not have extra oil or too much of masala like your typical restaurants do. It was tasty and filling at the same time. Will definitely order/drop by this place again for the meals - Heard they are really good as well!

Amazing food, very friendly waiters! Sambhar here is outstanding! If you wanna taste how a typical Tambram Kalyana sappadu tastes, make a visit here! Be it breakfast or lunch or just take away of any side dish, this place rocks!

Good delicious food . Ambience also good. Love visit often. It would be nice if we can order a la crate menu items and sambar rasam curry etc individually. If the daily menu is made available on line that would help. Possible in this digital age.

Food is average, not that great the way it's hyped by people. Ambience is good & the waiters are very humble. 160 rs for a meal is high for the food that's served.

Home like food but pathetic service. Just 2 boys to care 25 covers (12 customers eating when we went lunchtime) but slowww in serving. After rice waited 5 mins for Dhall powder , again another 5 mins for sambar.... Can't blame the boys... Poor training and a lousy attitude from owner who didn't have time to even listen when I told him about this... We didn't even complete our meals. And above all there was a dead mosquito in my meals , didn't panic or raise alarm but wanted to show the owner quietly but he is TOOO BUSY..... what a waste of money & time. DONT GO....

Ordered from here but truly a disappointing experience. The hotel just changed our order without bothering to inform and also missed out Sambhar chutney with the idly dosa order. Not sure what we're supposed to have this with. Taste was okayish but this experience has made sure that I never order from here again.

Regret going to this place for lunch. Limited meal with hardly 50gms of poriyal and kootu. Limited rice. One meal costing rs 140 was like eating a meal and paying for two. Pathetic.
