bit spicy to our pallette. can visit once in a while . mysore masala dosa wasn't crispy and baby corn crispy was spicy. kids enjoyed the pasta n fries. overall ok except fr crowd on sat evening. bit noisier n busy in weekend.

Mathsya Adyar Branch I had an extremely disappointing and frustrating experience at Mathsya – Adyar Branch, and I can confidently say this is one of the worst restaurants I have ever visited. To begin with, there was no proper welcome or guidance at the entrance. No one bothered to explain how the buffet works or guide us to our seats. We literally had to search for the manager or supervisor ourselves just to understand the operations and get seated. This lack of basic hospitality itself set a very bad tone for the visit Coming to the buffet food, it was absolutely terrible. Most of the dishes were tasteless, with no salt at all in many items we tried. On top of that, the food was not hot, which is completely unacceptable for a buffet restaurant. Most of the food trays were empty, and there was no proper refilling happening. A buffet is supposed to offer variety and availability, but here it felt like we were constantly waiting or settling for whatever little was left. The service was equally poor. The staff were not active or attentive. Whenever we called them, they took a long time to respond, and even simple requests were delayed. There was no sense of urgency, responsibility, or customer care from the staff. Now coming to the cleanliness, especially the washroom, it was shockingly bad—the worst washroom experience I have ever had in any restaurant. For a place that charges such a high amount, this level of hygiene is completely unacceptable. •The toilet jet spray holder was broken and lying on the floor •There was no proper place to keep it, and we had to use the nearby washbasin awkwardly •The flush was not working •There was no water in the washroom for 4–5 minutes •Later, when water came, we had to use a small bucket kept there •There was no tap to fill the bucket, so we had to do a complete circus—fetching water from the washbasin tap and pouring it into the bucket to use the toilet This is beyond pathetic and unacceptable. They are charging ₹699 per person, yet they cannot fix a toilet jet spray holder, which wouldn’t even cost ₹150–₹200. This clearly shows how little they care about basic maintenance, hygiene, and customer comfort. Overall, this place fails miserably in food quality, service, hygiene, and management. It was a very pathetic experience, and I strongly do not recommend Mathsya -Adyar Branch to anyone. There are far better places that offer good hygiene, proper service, and delicious food for the price they are charging. Worst place to visit - Mathsya Adyar Branch. Never visiting again.
