Visited this place on a Saturday evening with my family friends. We wanted to try this place out to see what the hype is all about. Reached the place around 7:45pm and found it to be buzzing with people. Not sure how table bookings work here. We got seats for six as soon as we entered. Guess the place has ample seating available in two floors combined. Location - This place is located at Akkarai junction, ECR. Pretty easy to spot with its huge nameboard. Parking - Valet parking is available, but it's still unorganised. Tons of staff are available at the very entrance, but there's a lot of miscommunication and arguments happening among the staff. We even witnessed a family's car key being misplaced by the valet staff. A lot of commotion was going on about this. Definitely needs a lot of improvement on getting this process organised. Ambience - The place is vast and there's ample space between seats, providing us reasonable amount of privacy. The ambience was somewhat turkish based. Simple, yet neat. There was an incident where a piece of wooden divider fell down with a huge sound just at the push of a small girl's force. Luckily no one was hurt. Showed us the build quality of the restaurant. Washrooms and washbasins were maintained well. Lighting and air-conditioning were superfluous. Service - This was easily the most impressive and fastest service I've experienced in recent times. Just like people available for valet, waiters and busboys were also available in tons. There was always someone available at the whim of our hand. Our dishes arrived within seconds of ordering. Having said that, basics such as providing a plate, straw or a spoon were constantly missed out. We had to ask for them separately time and again. The waiters also had a reasonable amount of knowledge about their dishes. Food - We weren't really familiar with the dishes available here. Seeing the menu, we felt like we had very few options to choose from. However, while placing our order we came to know that there are also some dishes that are not mentioned in the menu. Our orders were: - Mutton Samosa : Although tasty with succulent mutton extract, it was obvious that it was heated in a microwave oven before being served. Meaning, it was definitely atleast a day old. - Chicken Hot n Sour Soup : To begin with, the soup wasn't piping hot. It was on the verge of becoming cold. And we had to use a microscope to find chicken pieces in this soup. Very few chicken pieces were added in the size of pepper balls. Although the taste wasn't that bad, the overall quantity and the chicken availability made this an unsatisfactory dish. - Mutton Sheek Kebab : One of the best kebabs I've had in recent times. It was soft and firm, the flavours had soaked in perfectly and the mutton used also felt fresh. - Fish Tikka : Hands down, the best fish tikka I've ever tasted so far. The succulent pieces were cooked to perfection with delectable masala flavours blended in, removing the rawness of the fish and making them soft and tender. The pieces were huge in size too. Totally worth the money! - Murgh Kesari Malai Tikka : Provided with chopped onions and a piece of lemon , the small juicy pieces of chicken were cooked to perfection with the same flavour as the fish tikka. Only difference is with the mayo added. It was obvious the kebabs and tikka are Bilal's strongest forte. - Chicken Lollipop : This was nothing special. Just small fried chicken leg pieces with very little meat. The taste didn't stand out when compared to the tikkas and kebabs. - Chicken Briyani : This dish was the greatest let down amongst all the dishes we ordered. The main briyani flavour itself was missing big time! Although the chicken pieces were cooked well, the rice didn't absorb the required amount of flavour inside. The quantity wasn't impressive, but given the quality of food provided, we were just glad that more quantity wasn't provided. This wasn't worth the money we paid. - Chicken Noodles : Our next disappointment. The noodles was cooked well with surplus veggies but was too bland to our liking. They have tried to prepare some authentic Chinese style noodles, but even here we had to use the same microscope to search for chicken pieces. It is day light robbery that they charge us the price of chicken dishes, when they clearly don't provide enough chicken to differentiate between a veg and a non-veg dish. There were literally microscopic tiny pieces of chicken that we couldn't even feel while chewing the noodles in our mouth. - Parotta : Again they soared to their best high quality with this dish. It was fresh, fluffy layered and delightful to eat. - Mutton Salli Kuruma : The waiter specifically told us that it is a spicy dish and asked us not to order butter naan with this, which is why we went with parotta. To our astonishment, the dish wasn't spicy at all. Too much coconut milk was used, which sucked away all the spiciness making it almost taste like butter chicken masala. Not saying this didn't taste good, but we were just baffled with why the waiter advised us otherwise. Mutton pieces were boneless and ample. - Arabian Grape Juice : This wasn't the usual grape juice. Grape pieces were put inside but the juice was watery and not thick like usual. Had correct level of sweetness. - Chocolate Milkshake : Good quality chocolate was used. Quantity was reasonable. - Lime Juice (Salt) : We specifically requested not to use soda and got what we ordered perfectly. Good. - Sulaimaan Tea : Even though the waiter warned us that this was just black tea, we still ordered it out of curiosity seeing the name. Just like he had warned, we got a glass of plain black tea. Nothing special. Paid ₹3,300 including all the GST crap. Seemed like a somewhat reasonable amount for four adults and two children, given the quality of food provided for certain dishes. If we visit next time, we will now have an idea of what to order and what not to order. Location - 4.5/5 Parking 3/5 Ambience - 4/5 Service - 4.5/5 Food - 3.5/5 Pricing - 3/5 VFM - 3.5/5

The main problem is parking. Always congested. Getting a table during peak hours & holidays is a problem. The Mutton Biryani is oily & full of fat&costly. Chicken Biryani is OK. Nalli kurma is very spicy & gravy is meagre. Not fit for children.Chicken 90 fried chicken is good. On the whole can be given a try once in awhile.

Had ordered from the place online for Eid . Only to be horrified to see my son come over with his plate and indicate that there was maggots in the biryani . Presence of maggots imply poorly stored rotten meat implying there is a health and safety issue in the restaurant . please be careful.

Briyani quantity is very very less for around 400 rupees. Mutton paaya is more spicy and quantity is very less for 400 rupees. Idiyappam was very dry not soft. No kuruma was provided for parotta and parotta size was very small for 50 rupees.

They don’t have a proper parking. Got a scratch on my bike. The parking assistants never bothered to tell me about it. No food is worth having a dent on your vehicle. It’s a very poorly managed restaurant.
