This place is a hidden gem in Mylapore (for people from other areas). Located just outside the main entrance of the Kapaleeswaran temple, this restaurant serves really delicious South Indian food. I had the rava kichidi, ghee plain dosa and the keera Vada. The cost came to 275 which seems slightly pricey, however the taste, quantity and quality of the food deserves five stars. The service is fast but the cleanliness needs to improve.

Extremely expensive.Tbey charge Rs.309/ for.a Rawa dosa, coffee and curdrice. They don't show menu card. Waste of money. previously it was reasonable and tasty. Now waste of money. There are many places in .Mylapore who serve very asty for at reasonable rate Please don't go .

Deep desire sets in as I cross Mylapore one fine afternoon. Although the area had plenty to offer, decided to step into, with my cousin brother, MKM after a decade. Same old ambience in a renovated building. “ Vazhai ilaila tiffin “ (See Picture) and then a cup of strong coffee. Can still feel it. “ Looks like the quality and taste has improved , it was not so good in the interim”, my cousin added. May be true but I want to visit again. Don’t miss the coriander and mint chutney - it was 😋

The taste is delicious and they serve on a banana leaf. These two are the best factors. Location is near the famous Kapaleeswarar temple. Forget parking. You won’t get it. The service is impersonal. There isn’t an atmosphere to speak of. Go there for the food and leave soon as you’ve eaten. It’s not exactly cheap so go with a budget of ₹250/person.

A heritage place of sorts - been visiting time and again more out of nostalgia for name & location. The taste of food is good. Premises needs to be cleaned keeping the heritage in mind- right from the wash area, taps, way things are stored. Strange that it is named after goddess Karpagambal and in close proximity to the iconic temple, yet Doesn't offer options Without onion & garlic. The coffee needs to be hotter and better. An overhaul required.

Very expensive! They have kept all the god photos on the walls but they don't even have a Menu card to show. 1 piece small idli is 36 Rupees, 2 piece poori 100rs, coffee 44rs, medu vadai 65 rs, normal dosa is 105rs. They are looting the customers !

Such a worst food experience! Way too costly for utter bad dishes..Can you imagine giving Rs.80 for just 1 coconut poli and it tasted so bad. I went to enjoy authentic mess dishes at good rates but it turned out I chose a wrong place!
