We were going that way and looking for pure veg restaurant for dinner, seeing this place, went with it. Parked 🅿️ car 🚗 in the roadside nearby. Got table for 6 without any waiting time. Ambiance is good with comfortable table and apt lighting. However, AC cooling is not great. It was sweating 😅 towards the end. Menu has decent varities to choose. We ordered Sodhi Idly, Idly vadacurry, Aapam, Dosai, Paneer dosai, Mini sambar idly, mushroom 🍄 manchurian dry, mushroom 🍄 soup, Paneer fried rice, watermelon 🍉 juice, pomegranate juice and Nannary sarbath. Food ordered came in reasonable time. The taste of all items are good. Dosai was cold but on complaining they were ready to replace. Sodhi Idly was excellent 👌 Mushroom 🍄 soup can be bit more thicker/ creamier. Service can be bit more attentive. Pricing is ok considering the location and quality. Overall it was satisfying experience 😃

I went to hotel today afternoon. Captain Pandian attended me and took orders...He served the food quickly and the food are very tasty.. Great experience.. thanks..

Zomato pay not accepting, then why are they screening on the app. It took a long time to convince. At last accepted after waiting for approval from their management .

Firstly this is a review for my breakfast on Sunday morning at 7:30 am. Ordered Pongal and vadai, mini tiffin, 2 mini tiffin parcel, ghee roast. I would say the worst sambar I have ever had as it was not having any flavour and it tasted bland, idly was sour and even dosa was very sour. Back home in the parcel, Food was so bad that even my 10 year daughter felt the road side shop Sambar will be tastier than this, I usually Don’t put negative reviews unless the food is really bad, In terms of service I felt they don’t care for their customers and we have to call them every time, As again always disappointing with the service but this time it was the food aswell which I couldn’t bare anymore and would never again go there….:

We recently visited the Tambaram branch. We placed an order for one piece of sambar vadai, two chola poori, and one coffee. It was the bill. We were astonished. 480 Rs. The taste of sambar vadai was awful. I never advise anyone to visit the Vasanta Bhavan outlets.

Came to this pathetic place after 4 years. They have not changed at all. Excruciating price , bad behaved petty staff running all around the place. We had asked for regular water than bottle water kept on table and this had to be reminded twice

Very poor hygiene, my both of the dish came with plates which have rusted marks in corners and looks like washed decades back. Foods are serving with banana leaf on it.

one of the worst places to have dined in. no proper customer service, no response from the people who work here. I definitely regret going to the restaurant

Food is average. service is very slow. They have employed one person for cleaning all the tables. Ambience is not good despite the ample space inside.
