I recently had the pleasure of dining at Nasi and Mee, and it was truly an exceptional experience from start to finish. The ambiance was warm and inviting, creating the perfect setting for a relaxed and memorable meal. What really stood out was the outstanding hospitality Mamang— the staff were incredibly attentive, courteous, and made sure we felt comfortable throughout our visit. Their service added a personal touch that made the experience even more special. The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the chef’s special prawn and fish dishes. They were absolutely exquisite — perfectly cooked, bursting with flavor, and easily some of the best seafood I’ve had in a long time. Every bite felt like a treat. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and top-notch service. Looking forward to visiting again soon!

I've been going to Nasi and Mee for as long as it's been around, and believed it's one of the best Asian restaurants in Chennai. The food was not as good as it was, and if you're a vegetarian, beware of the careless service at KNK Road. A waiter (Mugunth) kept a complimentary plate of something crispy on our table and walked away. After I'd eaten some of it, another waiter came up to us and said, to my shock and horror, that it's prawn chips. He apologised profusely but the damage was done and only a vegetarian will empathise with that uncomfortable feeling. We didn't cancel the order and leave, although I wanted to, but I don't see myself going to this restaurant ever again. Making great food is all very well, but it's equally (if not more) important to respect your patrons' dietary preferences, and making sure your staff are trained to do so before having the audacity to levy a 10% service charge for non-existent service.
