Have been to this place a few times. The only Malaysian Nasi Kandar restaurant in Chennai. The food is authentic. this time we ordered squid/sotong fry, nasi kandar (fish curry), roti telur/egg parota which is served with dalcha, idiyappam(comes with coconut milk). The hot and crispy egg parota with thick dalcha having huge vegetables chunks makes for a great combination. The chicken curry was forgettable but had big chunks of chicken, the fish curry was the standout. Must try! Rich gravy with one okra in it and a huge chunk of king fish in it. The squid fry was another delicious dish. Extremely Crispy and just the right texture. Also huge quantity, ideal for 2 people. Tasted amazing with a dash of lime! Overall a good restaurant to try a different cuisine in Chennai.

Went to this restaurant. to try malayasian food. The banana parotta. Other than that nothing to say about other food. This is a no smoking zone but people were smoking and when I requested the restaurant manager to tell them, he told if you want them to stop you have to say. I don't know if that was the correct response from the hotel staff. Don't think I will go there

Definitely doesn’t take like Malaysian recipe. May be they’re trying to do it here. I have had all these dishes in Malaysia and it’s completely different. Nasi Goreng and nasi lemak wasn’t good at all. Chicken satay was too sweet. Only thing we liked is Milo ice.

I ordered mee goreng and chicken satay. reeks of coconut oil, and more importantly, no flavour. service is pathetic, that's the cherry on top!

This is the worst place I have ever been in my past 10 years experience as food reviewer. The food isn't fresh. I wonder how the rice could not be fresh. But here they serve you everything unfresh. The rice which is waterly and sticky. The fish which looks only good enough but doesn't add any value of spice, salt, taste not even the freshness. The menu stated as rs.240 in Zomato but here they charge rs.370 in real. And that too the water bottle is being dumped on me, since the waiter refused to serve Normal water. I have spent thousands and evn lakhs for food I think. But spending on unworthy food is not I recommend here. And I forgot to state that to get this food, they made me wait for half and hour. Where other people on the table is served first. Moral - When you go alone for eating, they will not value you.

I ordered Malaysian chicken biryani and Hyderabadi chicken, it was not worth it. The biryani tasted like the normal one we get in a takeaway restaurant for 100rs. Even the portion was less for the price they charged and the Hyderabadi chicken it was nothing like the one we get in other restaurants, no chicken pieces only some small boneless chunks of chicken. Ate it because we were super hungry and didn't have the strength to complain. The service was super slow, we had to wait for 30 minutes to be served people who came before us were served first or is it cause we are outsiders and not local.

The taste of the food is very One misfortune I had was to go there and eat and pay and then I lost money because of a transaction problem Despite all the details given that the transaction was complete, the manager's reaction there was very bad and for two months there was no solution . food is very good but this kind of service is doing very poorly and I am very unhappy that the solution has not been found yet.

It was truly the worst experience possible. The service was extremely slow and they took more than a hour to bring food , blaming it on "technical fault". After starving for so long we had the misfortune to get a taste of chennai's worst. I beseech you to stay away from this place as far as possible for your own sanity. P.S. - Their is a KFC next door which is really good.

I didn't understand why restaurants serving bottled water to their customers & charging for it, without asking them. When we refused to pay for water bottles which I didn't ordered, they argued that nobody ask about it. Is it not the duty of a restaurant to serve water for free of cost?
