Been wanting to visit this place for quite sometime. When the opportunity presented itself, I grabbed it. It was crowded when we entered the restaurant around 10pm but managed to find seats within 5 mins. Biriyani was sold out, but I went there with Parotta in mind, so wasn’t disappointed. We ordered Parotta, one masala omelette, one plain omelette, chicken chops curry, chicken onion fry and chicken cutting (deep fried). Parotta, being their main dish lived up to the expectations. The chicken chops curry was fantastic and complimented the parotta very well. The chicken onion fry was very good too with reasonable quantity of chicken in it. The only let down was the chicken cutting which was deep fried in coconut oil. I could hardly find any meat in it. It was all bone. It was not properly cut, which means the bones were really sharp. One has to exercise caution while eating it. (I can’t believe I wrote this warning for a chicken dish 😀) Overall, this Border Rahmath kadai alternate is a good place to satisfy your country chicken cravings but the limited menu is something they need to improve on.

Nellai Vairamaligai Located in T nagar(Rama Kamath Puram) where they serve some authentic thirunelveli styled nattu kozhi roast varities and different varieties of parottas They are mainly famous for their nattu kozhi and parotta dishes .Those who loves parotta and country chicken should definitely try out this place in Chennai T nagar As it was a rainy evening we decided to go for some hot parotta and salana which was it best I loved their parotta texture and salana taste especially that nattu kozhi gravy they give as a complimentary one was spicy and with that coconut oil was too good Nattu kozhi roast is roasted with coconut oil gives us some different and good taste Overall I love the place with good Ambience , service and tatse Rating 4/5 Recommending this place 💯 Masala kalai ,parotta and nattu kozhi roast was my favorite ❤️ Nattu kozhi roast - 130 INR

A place famous for parottas and indeed was quite a satisfying meal. We ordered: 1) cutting chicken - must try 2) salna parotta - must try 3) veechu parotta - must try 4) chicken kothu - good try 5) masala kalakki - average try. Coconut oil is used in all the dishes and salna had subtle masala, less spice because of the coconut. Cutting chicken was good, salna parotta is nothing but salna poured over parotta and served in a bowl. Veechu parotta was also devourable. Chicken kothu and masala kalakki were average. I have had better kothu parotta than this. The price was very nominal , it had a typical mess kind of set up. Good place to satisfy your parotta cravings. Always a parotta fan!

The review is for take away. I myself personally visited the place. This place food taste is awesome especially the parota, naatukozhi onion fry and chops. Minus about this place is service is horrible. Good food awfully horrible service. Don't want to be doing injustice to a tasty food so rated 4. Rating is only for food.

A must-try restaurant for parotta lovers. I prefer this to people who love dishes cooked entirely by using coconut oil. They use only country chicken and the price seems to be on the higher side.

First time trying Nellai style Food . It was really good. Typical South Indian taste💯 We ordered Mutton Onion Fry & Nattukoz chops. Must try dish! Worth for every Penny 😀

I recently purchased 5 parottas and 1 egg parotta from this hotel. The quantity is very minimal for the price. It would be okay if the taste was good — we could overlook the portion size — but the taste is also below average. It would be fine if the gravy was good, as that could compensate for the lack of taste, but even the gravy tasted like a vegetarian kurma mixed with dal powder. I really didn’t expect this much disappointment from this restaurant.

It's pure poison, puked after having it. I don't even know how it got 4.3 rating in the first place. Please close this place taking public health into consideration for godsake. They are serving parotta with rasam, one week old rasam to be precise

Worst service I have ever experienced. Never coming here again!! Food may be decent. But worst service and bad staffs only.
