If you are in tnagar and wanting to have good Andhra saapadu, this is the place! Good food, awesome service! They charge the same for both veg and non veg meals and both are good. I personally loves the chicken fry, it's not very spicy but yummy, but the paruppu podi and pappu were the best especially when rice is served hot! The vanjaram was also fresh. They have 2 floors so if you need a table quickly, walk up and try to get a table rather than waiting for them to seat you.

We were a group of 7 persons, had to wait a while before we got a table. Food was good, service was prompt too. However the typical Andhra style is missing. Cleanliness too needs to be looked into.

Hygienic spot to enjoy a mix of veg and nonveg meals the food is spicy. I throughly enjoyed the food here.

We had meals for dinner but the rice served was so cold. Perhaps from lunch. The meal was OK OK nothing much as the hype about Andhra mess food.

FIND A BETTER RESTAURANT IN THE SAME AREA ( YOU WOULDN’T REGRET SKIPPING THIS ) Abnormally expensive for a low par food that doesn’t have better taste or quantity than any other good restaurants. If I have the rate the quantity of biryani served in this one vs. other restaurants, it would like 40% compared to 100%. I ordered one chicken biryani ( 270Rs. ) and one vanjaram fish fry (300 Rs.) THE SMALLEST PORTION OF BIRYANI COSTED 270. They served it on the most flat plate possible . At least it should have been in a decent bowl with some good quantity . The fish fry was also a very thin piece and was not at all worth 300. I just don’t know how worthless restaurants like these are run in prime areas like Pondy Bazaar. Another restaurant in a big list of bad ones that focus on cost rather than taste , quantity and experience. A decent Zomato or Swiggy order from better restaurants would have costed less .

Mutton Briyani - To be very honest, I am shocked after they presented the bill for Rs. 300. that is not even biryani!  don't want to give even 1 rating out of 10.want to give 0 to the quality of food they serve. .The biriyani that I ordered was stale, was smelling bad.I am so much disappointed by the quality of food served. .I even called them up for a complaint but none of them ready to pay attention to the cuatomers concern. Their attitude is like they were serving free food. Will never recommend it to anybody especially the Chennai T.NAGAR branch OPP TO BIG BAZAAR-From a disappointed foodie.

They decide where you need to sit, you have to share your table with strangers. Not ideal. hygiene is not their priority. The person who takes the order has a sad attitude. It does not take time for a sanitary inspector to raid your hotel. Don't mess with influential people.
